Hello,

We recently started using Windows XP Professional on several
workstations. When users log on, they usually have to click through a
couple of print notifications even though they haven't printed
anything out. Also, I checked the print queue when a user complained
about being bombarded with print notifications and there were hundreds
of "Remote Downlevel Document" jobs there.

I updated the virus definitions (12/24/2002) and scanned the PCs using
Symantec Anti-Virus 8.0 and found nothing.

When the users log in a logon script runs that connects all their
network printers via 'net use' commands to a NT4 print server.

Also, we don't have this problem with NT4 Workstation and 2000
Professional clients.

Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks,
Tom
