being released, I have a warning for you regarding a Bruckner Symphony # 4
with Milan Horvat
The CD is a new release by Sounds Supreme:
2S-132 - Horvat Rundfunk-Sinfonie Orchester Berlin
Please be advised that this is the very same recording as the Horvat / ORF
Symphony Orchestra (Austrian Radio) CD.. This recording is available on a
Point CD (267128-2) and several other recordings for a very inexpensive
price (ca. $3.00 in the USA). It has been available for many years. It is
not a live recording as is stated on the Sound Supreme CD..
Recently, Sounds Supreme has been copying many earlier private labels, and
there has been some duplication of offerings with other pirate labels.
That is to be expected. But this move to commercial recordings will make it
very hard to buy their CDs because no one will want to spent $25 plus
postage to find out that thay have ordered a CD that is already available.
This is a bad precedent and I hope it will be avoided in the future. In the
meantime, I'll keep watching and comparing...

Often under the name of "Henry Adolph, Philharmonia Slavonica".
