Assalamu Alaikum.

Zekr uses "Ctrl + Alt" + (Up, Down, Left and Right) arrows key combination as a shortcut for going to next Juz/Sura. But in Windows, these shortcuts are used for Rotating the Windows Screen. Even though, Zekr window is active, these shortcuts rotates the windows screen, instead of performing Zekr operations.

I have faced this issue in Windows 7.

Wa Alaikumassalam,

You can change short keys using the file shortcut.xml in your workspace (~/.zekr/config/shortcut.xml in Linux or C:\Users\<username>\.zekr\config\shortcut.xml in Windows).

I'm not sure that we can precede Windows shortcuts, so I thing the only workaround would be to change these key combinations for yourself. Alt + Arrow Keys (Left/Right/Up/Down) would be much in use in Zekr, and it suffices even for Sura/Juz navigation if you change your paging mode.

Regards,
Mohsen
