I am writing here, because (frankly speaking: I have no idea where
should I write, so I write here, so please forgive me another off-
topic) I fall in love. I'm in love with a song called 'Ajde Jano'. I
heard it first time when I was visiting Poznan, some street violin
player played it on the street. I had no idea what it was, but the
melody was outstanding. I got back to Warsaw and started to searching.
And I found it. 'Ajde Jano'. Geeez... even Nigel Kennedy recorded his
version of it.
I have completly no idea, what's the song about, but I feel it's a
song about longing, please correct me if I'm wrong. This song, based
on a six notes (only six notes!), is the most beautiful melody I have
ever heard in my life, be sure I've heard many songs before. And I'm
writing here to pay you tribute to your magnificent culture. It's a
huge heritage.
Take care of yourself
Greetings from Poland,
Paul.
