陰經(Vagina Bible)與聖經(Holy M)
零九年十一月，阿敏參加了泰國舉辦的 Asiatopia 11 Performance Art
Festival，分別於曼谷和清邁表演了兩個作品：「陰經」(Vagina Bible)
和「聖經」(Holy
M)，以陰道來書寫她的信仰及宗教體驗，以突顯陰性氣質的宗教味，引起來自亞洲的參與者的討論。關於．．．女性身體的禁忌、女性身體的情慾、女性在宗教參與的不自主身份和被壓迫、宗教對女性的神聖性規範．．．等故事、符號、掙扎、無奈與．．．接受．．．
LEUNG Wai-man Art Performance : Vagina Bible & Holy M In Nov 2009, Man participated in the Asiatopia 11 Performance Art Festival held in Thailand. She had performed her two pieces, “Vagina Bible” & “Holy M” in Bangkok and Chiang Mai respectively using vagina to narrate her beliefs and religious experiences. The representation of a more feminine taste of religion has aroused discussion among participants over Asia. The performance is about the taboos on the female body, the female body and erotic passion, the repression and involuntary female self under religion, the constraints of religion to female … and all these stories, symbols, struggles, happiness and tolerance ….
Man would like to show her realization and creation with our local audiences, and hopes this performance experience can link the lives, conditions and consciousness of Asia Women together.
The co-participant, yuenjie MARU, will respond to Man’s performance with his performance art.
