timeline not appearing on page

I've installed the latest version of the plug-in, and I was hoping
that it would solve my problem, but it didn't.

I have tested the plugin successfully on a test Wordpress install
locally on my Mac using MAMP, but it is not working when installed on
the webhost's server (1and1). In Firefox the box for the timeline
appears on the page, but with no timeline or posts. In Safari the box
AND timeline appear, with timeline even centered at the date of the
earliest post (August 1924), but NO posts appear, and this error
message appears: Failed to load data xml. However, when I call up the
xml file directly, the data is there. I've also refreshed browser
cache and checked other issues listed in the plugin FAQ.

I'm eager to get this useful plugin to work, and welcome any
suggestions!

Hm, strange. Although I can see the correct IDs and linked scripts,
Firebug noticed that the files timeline.js.php and timeline.css.php
end up with a 404 error.
Can you examine what file permissions are set for the data/ folder and
the files inside? CHMOD 755 should do.

Hi Tim--thanks so much for looking into this! I just checked those
permissions. Data folder was already 755, but files inside were 644,
so I changed those to 755. Timeline.js.php and timeline.css.php aren't
generating the 404 errors now (Timeline still doesn't load).

I appreciate your help troubleshooting this!
