Hey everybody,<br><br>There is a call-out coming from northern Arizona,� to anyone who would be available to come to the sacred San Fransisco Peaks(near Flagstaff) and help protect the peaks from ongoing destruction.� There has been a long resistance to ski area development and the proposed use of waste water to make fake snow on the peaks. The peaks are sacred to 13 different tribes in the region. <br>
The Snowbowl Ski Resort is defying a court ordered injunction and beginning clearcutting for expanded ski runs, laying of pipeline etc., even as they are being challenged in court for environmental destruction, sacred site desecration , and cultural genocide.<br>
There are many basecamps forming in the National Forest on the Peaks and people are invited to come participate in a stance to halt the daily destruction.
