The University of South Africa (Unisa) is the world's first single mode distance teaching university. As a mega university and Africa's largest comprehensive university, Unisa is leading again. It's official! Unisa approves an OER strategy.

This is a significant development for WikiEducators because we can now show our own institutions that it is possible to adopt open policies which integrate OER into mainstream institutional teaching and learning activities.
