Hi Everyone,
With funding support from UNESCO and the OER Foundation, and collaboration with WikiEducators, the OpenCourseWare consortium and Creative Commoners we are planning to launch the world's largest attempt to build knowledge and skills in open content licensing for educators. We plan to provide free training for all educators in the world on open content licensing drawing on our experiences from the ground breaking Learning4Content model (more than 5200 educators registered to date).
We need your help with copy editing and this is an open call to all WikiEducators with a passion for language and grammar. Inputs from content experts in the field of intellectual property rights and creative commons licenses are also most welcome to review and improve the draft materials.
You will find instructions on how you can help here:
http://wikieducator.org/Open_Content_Licensing/Project_plan#Review_and_refine_draft_resources
This is an important task. There are a number of volunteers waiting to translate these resources into different languages and ideally we need to work from a peer reviewed and edited base materials.
Many hands make like work -- choose a few pages for copy editing, read the instructions and help us finish this important work.
Be part of making history in the OER world and earn the community kudos you deserve!
Cheers
Wayne
