CLSQL, Elephant changes to merge Jan 10: please test

If you're using CLSQL or Elephant as a backend, please test these
changes.

CLSQL: http://weblocks.lighthouseapp.com/projects/18897/tickets/61 . If
you don't want to git-merge the CLSQL bit, see

Elephant: The elephant-new-transactions patch in
http://www.bitbucket.org/S11001001/weblocks-experimental-queue/ . It is
trivial but I wanted those with Elephant apps to try it before merging.

Notwithstanding further problems, they'll go in dev (with the bt fluids
added to clsql-fluid if not integrated upstream by then) on January 10.
