... and this requires the latest web2py_ajax.html from welcome in
trunk else it does not work.

Please give it a try, I have not tested it that much!

I need trunk web2py_ajax or will latest work?

Can I just copy that single file from trunk?

It got checked into gluon/contrib, not scripts.

Fixed a couple of bugs and moved it to gluon/contrib/
comet_messaging.py

I included more examples.

I tried

My tornado instalation on UBuntu has not websocket

I used apt-get in ubuntu 10.10 and it instals tornado 0.2


and now it is running well. Thanks

Updated to tornado 1.1 and it is working very well, thank you so much! 

I will use this on my new system of inventory control, receiving new requests for products and a feeding a table with powerTable.

Very cool!

I'll finish some functions in plugin then test the comet queue as datasource and I'll create a screencast soon.
