Hello,
dis somebody already try out to sort a data base generated list
(SQLTABLE) with jQuery via drag&drop?

I would like to have an interface like:
http://www.swartzfager.org/ctcm/
where I can sort& edit & delete the TODO items and the changes would
get updated in the database.

Other examples:
*
http://www.swartzfager.org/blog/index.cfm/2008/3/20/Problem-No-DragandDrop-On-The-iPhoneiPod-Touch--Solution--ClickToClick-Move
* http://www.swartzfager.org/blog/dspNestedList.cfm
* http://harm.glucose-ontwerp.nl/dev/sortlist.php
* http://interface.eyecon.ro/demos/sort.html

Kind regards,
Timmie

Very nice. Then I knwo where to digg...

What roadmap do you have for the KPAX application?
Why is it not on LP?

Will you merge it with the wiki app?

I am currently looking into an CMS/Wiki.
So currently there is:
* web2py wiki
* KPAX
* T3

How are therir priorities and respective status?

Kind regards,
Timmie

Yes. Hopefully everything will merge into a nice ajaxy CMS.

After the documentation this is a priority.

I think Tim means Launchpad

Thanks for this short update.
So I will base on T3 and see where you are heading to.

It seems that you are justifiably very busy with the mainline
development.

As obvious there are some commercial and non-commercial stakeholders
having a vital interest in web2py.
Why do you not appoint teams?
* doc team
* wiki team
* CMS team
* app team
* advertisement team
which can then take care of side issues?

I do not know about "appointing" but people have expressed an interest
in various aspects of web2py and have contributed to specific issues
so I try to keep track of that:

http://www.web2py.com/examples/default/who

Please send me corrections if your name is missing or you feel it has
been mis-categorized. Always assume it was because of negligence on my
side and not intentional. Some people have contributed more code than
others but that is not a good metric. Somebody who has contributed no
code but has spent time testing web2py and reporting bugs deserves as
much credit as any other contributor. Moreover a small patch can be
the result of more work than a large patch.

The story is different for applications. I said this over and over:
TAKE CHARGE. Take any app posted on appliances that you care and
become the maintainer. Post it on launchpad, bitbucket, git, whatever.
I will send patches to you instead of you sending patches to me. I'd
prefer to concentrate on core functionality.

One exception is KPAX since I have a vision for it but I am being
slow. I am also waiting for Ceej to send me new jDiv APIs.
