Proposal for 2012-03-22 meetup

Hi Vim folks,


I missed the last (and the first) meetup and would like to a give a
talk about onw of the following topics:

1. How I'm organizing and maintaining my .vimrc
2. Describing workflow for installing and updating new plugins.
3. Introduce a few of my favorite plugins
4. Lessons learned during the development of first Vim extension

I'd be more interested in suggestion 4 - Vimscript lessons learned.

Didn't we have some other people wanting to speak at the next gathering? How about we do lightning talks, where each speaker gets 5 minutes to present something. That would make a nice change from my rambling on at the last meetup.

I could speak for 5 minutes on why I don't use NERDtree.

Yeah, I don't want to talk more than 15 minutes at all. So one vote

Agree, I think everyone can talk for a short period of time and this
don't need so much preparation.

I'm using it for quite a while - I'm interested about your
argumentation.

I helped a little bit developing vim-orgmode. It's mostly written in
Python. I could talk about that and some gotchas developing python
plugins for vim...but sadly on the 22nd I'm not in Berlin. Maybe the
meeting after that.

sounds great, I gathered experience with ruby. Maybe you can give the talk on the next meetup.
