NoBuggs! It’s a chicken that flies. Rather like a Euro airbus chicken! But I want one that swims.

Now wait a minute....Who is writing here?
HI Joyce:
Thanks for the info and link. I thought the marketing was interesting – the name “Euro-hackles.” If I walked into a fly shop that sells whiting products and asked to see their Euro-hackles, they wouldn’t have the foggiest idea of what I was talking about. In fact, I might get some strange looks!
Some of these Whiting saddles and capes look so appealing to a fly tier.

Yes, those whiting co-op swaps were great. Too bad they are no longer available.

I recently bought an 1/2 Euro-Saddle in grizzly.
The feathers are on the other side of a midge saddle, size 12 and larger, a bit
web on them.
I like them for parachutes, and larger dries for sure.
Look a bit like the flatwing saddles, we shared years ago

I think that it would have to be someone who is resident in the USA that meisters the swap or there could be customs or tax problems.
Generally I don’t have to pay when bringing across the border for personal use, but large quantities may be a different matter.

swaps
Byard used to meister them and do the plucking & repackaging.
If someone had the time and inclination, and was a long-standing member of the VFB in good standing and accessible by other VFB-ers, I could get them set up with Dr. Tom to get wholesale pricing on 'co-op' saddles.
This time he will send the re-packaging bags and header cards, so there's no problem with his re-packaging rules.

Yes, I can believe that!

Sitting at the kitchen table plucking and sorting two saddles into 12 piles each is not something you easily forget.

First thing we'd need is a qualified meister. If the meister didn't want to
pluck for the skins ansd sof hackles, then we'd need pluckers. Then a
two-week campaign of VFB sign-ups to know how many saddles and of which
kind.
Then I could get a price with the multi-discount applied.
Byard printed his own header cards, and Tom said that was agin' the rules.
So how many VFBers want to saddle up again with the vo-op, and who wants to
meister, and who wants to pluck for skins?
