Could you pay more attention to tagging the v8 releases? chromium-8.0.552.11, a dev channel release, uses v8-2.4.9.6 (that's what about:version shows).

However, there seems to be no tag for 2.4.9.6, only 2.4.9.{1,2,8,9}.

Thanks!

Thanks for pointing that out. I created tag for 2.4.9.6.

Thanks. However, now the tag for 2.4.9.10 is also missing.

Could you please make the tagging a part of the release process? It would be very useful for Linux distributions.

Note it's not just for Chrome, there are other open source projects that would like to use V8 as their JavaScript engine.

I've created a tag for 2.4.9.10. I will write a letter summarizing
patch creation procedure.

Hi,

Would it be possible to tag 2.5.7 and 2.5.8 (and later) releases in
subversion?
As gentoo linux user, I'm using V8 as an external dependency for
chromium and it had worked well until 2.5.7 release. I need tags to
depend on proper version of V8 required by current edge version of
chrome.

Thanks.
