yeah, just saw that as well, nice!

i think in particular Sockethub can help as a tool to keep
communication federated (you would use it as an xmpp client to 1) your
own ("real") xmpp server, 2) gtalk, 3) facebook chat.

it is indeed ever clearer how important projects like these are, to
safeguard freedom of technology.

cool! you should mention that on the freedombox list. would be nice if
RaspberryPi could become a target platform for FreedomMaker, or at least
to discuss the issues that would be involved in getting there.
