You may already have heard of NAG and its activities. One of our initial
campaigns is to address the matter of the policing of nudity in public
places in the UK. The naturist world is rife with stories of both good and
bad policing regarding public nudity. There are many examples of
inconsistency between forces, misunderstanding and misapplication of the law
(both by police and the public), and disproportionate actions. We need to
convert hearsay and anecdotal reports in to evidence, so the first stage in
what will be long process, is to gather accounts of incidents involving the
police, directly from those involved. These will be analysed and considered
for evidence in our campaign.
This is where you come in. Have you, or someone you know been involved in an
incident involving public nudity, in which the police were involved in any
way? If so we'd love to hear from you, so please do get in touch. We promise
to respect confidentiality, and no one will be identified to third parties
without their prior consent. You can email NAG on in...@naturistaction.org.uk
, or write to us at N.A.G., P.O. Box 76, Ventnor. PO38 9BJ. If you'd rather
talk about it on the telephone, let us know your number and when you'd like
us to call you.
We also need helpers in this project. We would like to hear from anyone with
a legal or policing background who could become part of our small project
team as a researcher or advisor.
We look forward to hearing from you.

And do you really expect people to believe that? With far too much
time on your hands already you trawl the internet for personal
information about people who have annoyed you or some of your mates
and publish it widely. Now you're seeking the gullible to give you
that information!
