Well it is only a spit away from me - the Herts border is about half a
mile away from me.
Yeah it is a bit crappy up that way innit?

Hmmm... possibly.
But then I'd need another 'puter set up in the bog, linked via the

What? Invite lots of patio windows round? Wouldn't be a very good party;
I mean, they don't drink much, their taste in music is crap, and their
conversational skills are *totally* non-existent.
Or, perhaps you mean, use the new patio window as an excuse for a party?
Pah! Who needs an excuse for a party? My place, 11 o'clock this evening.
All invited.
Awful types ... you can see right through 'em.

Lets see , if I leave now , I should make it for arond 23:15... See you
later then .
*Way* too late - it was Tuesday evening when I posted that, and you
didn't read it till Wednesday. You really need to make an effort to keep
up.

I *know* - why do Psion refuse to build machines with real networking?
I want something the size of a Psion5/LG Phenom, *with* 802.11 *and* a
built-in modem, *and* built-in Ethernet running either KDE or,
preferrably MacOS.

But if you've got built-in 802.11 capability, do you really need
separate Ethernet capability? Surely you just connect via some sort of
wireless hub? (He said, in a sort of "I've got a vague idea what I'm
talking about, but it could all be compete bollocks" kind of way.)
ObBike: The 16,000 mile service looms closer and closer. My credit card

Nah - we heard you coming, and hid till you went away again.

Yeah, that's fine for at home, but you /might/ have trouble justifying
a wireless hub at work...

Buy more bikes;
Upside: They'll need servicing less often
Downside: But probably all at the same time.
Ah, but I have a cunning plan...
I've agreed with Clare that once she passes her test, we'll go halves on
buying a bike for her. She'll use it for going to work when the
weather's nice, I'll use it when she's not using it, if (for some
reason) I don't want to take the VFR[1]. She's also agreed that it will
be *her* bike, and therefore she will pay for the insurance and the
servicing...
[1] Or whatever I buy to replace it.
