Which Mahjongg layouts have you tried??

I have tried them all, but I like the Bridge one the best, I can work out a
strategy for that one, I find the Clasic one the hardest, trouble is my
wrist is aching now LOL

Yes, I found that Bridge was the easiest to w**k out: just take out
the ends of the bridge and the bridge itself and it goes out more
times than not.

Classic is quite easy too. You need to take out the long central
"wings" plus the top and bottom lines in conjunction with the central
pyramid but don't let it get too flat.

I find Theatre one of the hardest.

Deep Well is the next easiest: you need to take the sides down as
evenly as possible together with the longest lines at the top and
bottom.

What are your fastest times?? :))

I've got a CD with about 20 different layouts on it and some of them
are really hard.

Well that's how it's advertised. You aren't thinking of suing under the
Trade Descriptions Act are you? :)

I'll make a note of that, once I get to know the stratergy it will be easier

I haven't got that far yet, I did win a Bridge game this afternoon, that's
the first one I have managed to do. :-)

I suppose you are a Mahjongg addict then Firebird ;-) it does become
addictive once you start playing, I shall probably end up with carpal tunnel
thingy if I don't give it a rest now and again ;-)

It's all a matter of finding the basic strateg. It doesn't mean
you'll win every time but it improves your chances!! :))

Well done :)) Arena's easy too. Keep taking the columns down as
evenly as possible.

I enjoy playing and I'm very self-competitive. You're right though,
the more you play the more addictive it gets because each time you
don't get one out, you *have* to try again, or if you've won one then
you *have* to see if you can beat that time :))

Terry's given up trying to better my times <BG> and he was the one who
introduced me to the game in the first place!!

Nope.
But surely, when there aren't all that many new Posts being made
(in a period such as this), isn't that then a good time to have
a look back through some of the (thousands of) Posts made previously,
which you may not have had time to Read at the time they were made?
Surely *some* of what was posted in the last few days is still
relevant now?
It wasn't all just "Happy Xmas" Posts.
There were some interesting discussions.
& some funny/entertaining stuff was Posted up.
