Thus spoke so eloquently the editorial column of the Daily Express in
the days following the arrest of Peter Sutcliffe. Very few people
disagreed at the time.
*The Yorkshire Ripper cover up* teaches us many things, including the
degree to which we take our beliefs from the media.
There was no new dawn for "the men and women of the West Riding."
It was all in Ronald Gregory's imagination.
The Yorkshire Ripper continued killing. But from then on, his murders
were "new ripper" or "imitation ripper" - while the people of the West
Riding all heaved a sigh of relief and believed what they wanted to
believe.
This searing, hidden, collective emotional wound will continue to
afflict and torment "the men and women of the West Riding," until we
finally confront and resolve *the Yorkshire Ripper cover up* .

Far from being unexpected, it is an established pattern in human
behaviour, a psychological trait most of us tend to share.
What it comes down to is - human beings often behave with amazing
stupidity. When that happens, we usually deal with our problem by
denying it. Also, to spare our blushes, we demonise the "messenger,"
the person(s) pointing out the truth to us.
It's another law of human psychology [or of God is you want to call it
that] that whatever is denied will eventually be uncovered.
So despite the apparent impasse, and the fear generated by the Gregg /
King / O'Gara affair, do not expect the Yorkshire Ripper cover up to
go away.

Returning to the John Humble case, the following is an interesting
extract from Noel O'Gara's website:
"Police also released details of two phone calls that came into the
incident room in both Bradford and Northumbria within a week of the
murder of Barbara Leach in Bradford. They claimed that a man phoned
in
to both stations in a frenzy and claimed that the letters were a
hoax.
The calls were recorded by police manning the phones. Now Chris Gregg
says that this was John Humble who was repentant and attempted to
warn
police that the letters were a hoax.
However in the Independant newspaper the reporter had taken the
trouble to delve further into it and found that the police forensic
laboratory had eliminated this voice as being the ‘I’m Jack’ author
shortly after it was made. This means that that person could not have
been John Humble and the police laboratory eliminated him then.
This information in fact undermines the case against John Humble
based
on police evidence that Chris Gregg appears to have overlooked in
fabricating the confession and conviction of Humble."

kind of "conspiracy theory," because the West Yorkshire Police
themselves are the main source of evidence to the effect that John
Humble was framed and that the Yorkshire Ripper was never caught.

Kerry Macgill is a Bradford based solicitor who legally represented
Peter Sutcliffe after his arrest. He brokered a deal with detective
Chief Superintendant Dick Holland which was designed to get the best
possible treatment for his client. In this he was hugely successful.
Sutcliffe had murdered Jacqueline Hill only six weeks earlier in
Headingly Leeds and this murder was still fresh in peoples minds.
Sutcliffe was well described as a suspect and his car was equally
well
described.
He had driven the wrong way up a one-way street and made no attempt
to
hide when he attacked Jacqueline ,allowing another student Andree
Proctor to get a good look at him. The student reported the assault
and the police came but didnt make a thorough search.
Jacqueline died of exposure on a frosty November night and had she
been found when the police searched the area shortly after the attack
she would have survived ,as did two of his earlier victims only weeks
before, one of whom, Miss Lee was also a student in Leeds university.
The details of this attack were never revealed to the press by the
police for "operational" reasons.
Sutcliffe, the seriously disturbed madman who had told his friend
Trevor Birdsall that he was the Ripper,who had told a private
detective Jim Lyness that he was the Ripper, who phoned Olive Smelt
in
the vain hope that the police would trace the call to him, whose
workmates openly called him "the Ripper" because the police had been
checking so much on him, who had been in touch with clairvoyants
telling them he was the Ripper ,who had brought Leeds to a standstill
when he phoned the police to say the Ripper would strike in Leeds on
a
certain night, who had attracted so much police attention that they
were certain he did not fit the Ripper frame was finally being taken
seriously. Forensic science and solid evidence were being discarded
in
favour of confessions with the backing of four eminent psychiatrists
who would certify his insanity .
The police needed to bury the Ripper to cover up all the glaring
blunders they had been exposed to by him. They had much to hide ,not
the least of which was their failure to hold Sutcliffe since January
1980 when they knew he was the copy-cat killer. This resulted in
three
more murders and at least three more assaults by him which could have
been avoided. They were much more interested in getting their hands
on
Billy Tracey and couldn't risk alerting him to the arrest of his
copy-cat. The public paid the price.
Kerry Macgill brokered a deal which included no trial, a place
reserved in a mental hospital with room service and choice of meals
and a good likelyhood of parole within seven years, for his client
who
was willing to confess to anything, to a receptive policeman, Dick
Holland.
Holland was able to relay to Sutcliffe his story about the
arrest ,the
subsequent trial and conviction of Mark Rowntree, another disturbed
maniac who had stabbed two people in Leeds in 1975 and was at large
and knew the police were looking for him . Rowntree phoned Holland
who
was then based in Bradford, to arrange to give himself up and Holland
subsequently arrested him. Coincidentally two brutal murders were
committed in Leeds the day before his arrest and by the time Holland
was finished with Rowntree he had admitted to these also, a coup for
Dick Holland who was clearing up unsolved crimes in record time. The
Leeds police hadn't had time to get their forensic results back from
the laboratory before the crimes were solved with Rowntree's
confessions. He was ordered to be held without limit of time but was
freed on parole seven years later. Sutcliffe was given all these
details and went along with the deal.
Holland also secured the confession and subsequent conviction in
Court
of Stefan Kiszko for the murder of eleven year old Leslie Moleseed.
Forensic evidence which could clear Kiszko was never revealed at the
trial and Holland basked in the glory of a successful conviction
stemming largely from the confession he had extracted out of the
terrified Kiszko who admitted the crime under the duress of many
hours
of repeated threatening behaviour by the bulky Holland. All these
successful cases led to his promotion to Detective Chief
Superintendant of police and this was the policeman who headed up the
Yorkshire Ripper investigation and brokered the deal with Sutcliffes
legal team. Holland's record of fitting up fall guys for murder was
something that Billy Tracey was all too well aware of.
This murder of Leslie Moleseed is now an unsolved case once more.
Ironically it bears many resemblances to the admitted and fully
corroborated attacks on Peter Sutcliffe's other victims ,namely Mrs
Smelt, Mrs Rogulsky, Tracy Browne and Marcella Claxton. Semen was
found on Miss Brown' clothing indicating her assailant had
masturbated
on her. Miss Moleseed received the same treatment four months later
in
the same general vicinity. Because the semen was not B secretor blood
group Miss Brown's assault was never in the Ripper frame. Even when
her photo fit description of her assailant closely matched those of
Sutcliffe's later victims in the investigation, her attack was never
in the frame. Marcella Claxton saw and accurately described Sutcliffe
who masturbated over her after battering her over the head. He wiped
himself with tissues and threw a fiver on the ground beside her,
telling her not to go to the police. She also described his white car
with red upholstry . A similarly described car was sought after the
Moleseed murder. It would be conclusive now, to compare Sutcliffe's
semen with the evidence which cleared Stefan Kiszko in 1992 but was
witheld at his trial. The Claxton assault was never in the Ripper
frame until after Sutcliffe's arrest when they wanted to clear
everything associated with him including the Ripper murders. Needless
to say when he was confessing to all his crimes the Moleseed murder
would not be of interest to Dick Holland because Kiszko was convicted
for that.
Sutcliffe, after his arrest was very anxious to conceal his perverse
sexual motive in his crimes preferring to portray that he was on a
mission from God. The sexual evidence in these early assaults is
clear. Perhaps when he realised that the Ripper was manipulating him
later in the game, he committed attacks in his efforts to be arrested
and this was his mission.
After Sutcliffe's trial I put most of these facts to Kerry Macgill in
a letter. He never replied.
Nine years later he was assisting Sonia Sutcliffe to pursue a
magazine, Private Eye, in a libel action in the High Court in London
for alleged damages to her. I travelled there and when I approached
him he rebuffed me and refused to talk. She was awarded massive
damages by a sympathetic jury even though she perjured herself. Kerry
Macgill succeeded again.
When Dick Holland faced criminal charges for the wrongful conviction
of Stefan Kiszko, who better to turn to for legal advice than Kerry
Macgill, the Bradford solicitor who had negotiated the sweet deal for
Sutcliffe years earlier.
Macgill's handling of this case got Holland off the charges on the
technicalities of time and memory lapse..
All in all Kerry Macgill has played a major role in this debacle by
his blinkered vision of wanting to win the best possible deal for his
client without consideration for the victims who were treated like
pawns in his legal dealings.
Evidence has been ignored, justice has been perverted, the real
Yorkshire Ripper, Billy Tracey has been facilitated to remain free to
commit crimes against other innocent victims unaware of the
implications of Macgill's deals.

Clearly if the police cant solve some high profile serious crimes as
well as mere car parking offences etc and show results, their job
security would be very low. The euphemism (miscarriage of justice)
was
always used, not alone to shield these criminal policemen but also to
soften the damning evidence of how the Courts were so lax and unjust
to allow innocent people to be railroaded through the system without
the accepted safety of a scrutinising judge who allowed this crime to
take place in his courtroom, under his very nose. The judges always
resisted these appeals because it was calling their very existence
into question. They never accepted any blame even when it was clear
they were guilty of believing allegations of people, simply because
they were policemen. For that they were as guilty as the policemen
but
nobody would say that in the UK print media. Everybody is too polite
to tells the king he has no clothes.
The reason I mention this case is that prior to this landmark
"miscarriage" which broke the dam, convictions in UK courts were
never overturned. My protests that Peter Sutcliffe was not
responsible
for all the Ripper murders were never taken seriously because of
this
attitude which prevailed in the courts.
The Birmingham 6 case was a necessary event which had to happen and
it
did.

The Guildford 4 were not beaten, but were subjected to severe
pschological
pressure, including with-holding prescription drugs. One of them
(Hill)
never confessed, although pre PACE he may have been "verballed".
Police
errors in this case were failing to investigate properly, and going
to
enormous (and fatuous) lengths to disprove the defendants' alibis.
The sole
woman defendant had been photographed in Borough (London) shortly
after the
attack, so the police staged a "Cannonball Run" to show that you
could
drive
from Guildford (where one bomber was a woman) to London Bridge in the
short
time available. By their poor standards Surrey Police and them Met'
convicted four wholly innocent people and allowed the real killers
(arrested
after the Balcombe Street siege) to carry out further murders. This
case
was unusual because there were severe doubts even at the time, and
shortly
after. The prosecution hooked the jury into reversing the reasonable
doubt
maxim. They were persuaded that if they had doubts about their
innocence
then they might be allowing callous killers free to kill again.
This other case of Irish "murderers" came in the wake of the
Birmingham 6 case and many more followed. The dam had been breached
and many innocent vctims of miscarriages were now writing to their
solicitors with renewed hope that the courts would have a changed
attitude to police evidence.

Stephan Kisko was ESN. He was not beaten, but was threatened,
possibly
pushed about etc. and did sign a confession that he retracted at his
trial.
Subsequent medical evidence showed that he could not have been the
murderer.
These days DNA would have done this within 24 hours. Kisko must have
been
provided with details of the crime known only to the police. By
their
poor
standards GMP caused Kisko to serve 16 out of the 17 years left in
his
life
as a nonce in prison. The real killer of Lesley Moleseed escaped and
may
well have killed again. GMP reopened the investigation, but needless
to say
after two decades the trail was stone cold.
Stefan Kiszko had been threatened by the big and burly Detective Dick
Holland. Holland was the cop who, after his arrest in Sheffield,
offered Sutcliffe the deal of 10 years in the mental home and no
trial
in return for his confessions to all the murders.
He had earlier been directly responsible for eliminating Sutcliffe so
many times before his arrest because his blood group didnt match the
Ripper's B blood group and his teeth pattern didnt match the Ripper's
bite marks found on some victims breasts and the Ripper's notepaper.
Thats why the West Yorks police didnt want the madman Sutcliffe. He
had to travel to Sheffield to get arrested. They wanted to trap the
Real Ripper who had been identified to them by the author.
There is evidence that Sutcliffe's car resembled the car seen near
the
murder scene of Lesley Moleseed. Sutcliffe had similarly sexually
assaulted 14 year old Tracy Brown near Silsden only a few months
earlier. He masturbated over them as he touched them up. When
Sutcliffe was arrested in 1981 Kiszko was serving time for this crime
and it was off the books. Case closed.
He was serving time as the Yorkshire Ripper when Kiszko was released
so there was no way my allegation could be looked at. However the
evidence is shown in my web site under the Moleseed page, for those
interested.

Judith Ward presented herself at a police station and voluntarily
confessed
to (IIRC) [helping with] bombing a coach full of soldiers on the M62
a
few
years earlier. Whilst the police should have probably done more work
to
establish that either the confession was false or that Ward must have
had
info from the real bomber(s) and so identify them, they apperently
did
neither, nor did they check her sanity. In this case Ward herself
was
the
main agent of her conviction, although mental illness probably meant
she was
not responsible for her actions. The police never got very far
investigating this crime, and Ward's conviction probably made no
difference
as to whether thereal bomber(s) were ever caught.
Judith Ward was convicted on the strength of her confessions made
with
the assistance of Detective George Oldfield, the policeman who later
became famous for his association with the Yorkshire Ripper case.
Oldfield was heavily criticised by the Judge who overturned her
conviction in about 1993 .
Like Ward, Sutcliffe was a mentally disturbed man who believed he was
the Ripper. Oldfield knew this but had his sights set on getting the
real man because he knew the Rippers identity from November 1979 but
he had to wait for him to travel to the UK to nail him on the job.
Sutcliffe had indeed murdered some victims which were included in the
Ripper toll of victims but prior to his arrest in Sheffield the
police
knew and admitted that there was a copy cat killer involved in the
Ripper case. In the end Sutcliffe's confessions set aside all the
hard
evidence that actually was used to eliminate him 12 times at least. A
plea bargain deal for his confessions was made to seal the agreement.

The problem with this hypothesis is that the murders stopped after
Sutcliffe
was caught. Several real clues did tie Sutcliffe to the murders, in
particular the new ?5 note discovered with a victim in Manchester.
Indeed
the Sunday Times ran a review article on just how the police had
failed to
realise the importance of this clue or identify who had had it long
before
Sutcliffe was caught. It is true that the police over-reacted to the
tapes,
because (probably by chance) they predicted events. The tapes may
also have
been used by the real murderer of a woman in Preston (in 1975?) to
draw
suspicion away from him for that crime.
Not so. There have been so many unsolved murders in the UK since
Sutcliffe's conviction that I can only direct you to my web site to
browse some of them. The police surely cant say the Ripper struck
again but they talk of New Ripper murders and Ripper style killings
etc etc. Dont take my word for it . Check the reports.
As for your other comments may I ask you to read my site and all will

If you want a better example try Winston Silcott. Here three
vulnerable
lads were coerced into incriminating Silcott for murdering a
policeman.
Silcott did not confess, but verbal statements implying guilt were
falsely
attributed to him, and such was the mire that the defence team chose
to
challenge the interpretation of the falsely attributed remarks rather
than
their veracity. Silcott was elsewhere at the time and wholly
innocent
of
this murder. By their poor standards in this case the Met not only
convicted Silcott (who was serving life anyway), but also ensured
that
those
who killed one of their own number are still free, maybe to do it
again!
Policemen are fighting criminals and it is a difficult job at the
best
of times. However quite a few of them take the view that to convict a
criminal of a crime is good even if they know he didnt do that one.
It
is a common feeling in most policemen.
In the case of the Ripper we are talking of a different kind of
criminal. A man who set out to terrify a whole community and played
on
these weaknesses known to him, of policemen,known to him to get
someone, anyone. A man who murdered in a terrifying fashion by
ripping his victims open with the claws of the hammer and then wrote
letters to the police who hunted him as he played games with them
knowing he was directing them towards his copycat killer,who was
later
revealed as Peter Sutcliffe.
Policemen have to get convictions but I had to deal with the real
Ripper and that is why the web site was created.

RENEW APPEALS FOR HELP
The senior detective investigating the murder of Rebecca Hall has
renewed his appeal for help to the people of Bradford.
Becky, aged 19, was found dead in an alleyway behind the car park at
Thornton Street, Bradford, on April 26th. She died from severe head
injuries and had sustained a vicious and brutal beating.
She had not been seen since she left her home at Lydford House, Off
Elizabeth St, Little Horton in Bradford at about 10pm on April 13th.
Detective Ch Supt Max McLean said a full team of detectives, based at
Bradford Central Police Station, was still investigating Becky’s
murder.
Officers have carried out approximately 1,500 lines of inquiry so far
and taken nearly 300 statements.
The investigation has also involved advice from forensic scientists,
experts in pathology and other scientific experts, as well as input
from the National Crime Faculty and the services of a criminal
profiler.
Det Ch Supt McLean said Becky’s South Park watch (SEE PHOTO BELOW) was
still missing as well as her black flip-top Motorolla Startac mobile
phone.
"I would appeal to anyone who has seen a watch or phone like Becky’s
to come forward," said Det Ch Supt McLean.
Throughout the course of the last three-and-a-half months, officers
have spoken to Becky’s friends and family and have interviewed many of
her known punters, as well as men suspected of attacks on other
prostitutes.
"My team has focused on a large number of suspects over a very short
period of time," said Det Ch Supt McLean. "We have had very little
information from the public –I realise that this is probably due to
the trade Becky worked in.
"I would like to remind people that Becky was a 19-year-old mother of
a four-month-old baby boy. She was Bradford born and bred and has a
mum and dad and sisters living in this city.
"I believe somebody local is out there who murdered this young
Bradford girl and we need to catch that person.
"To have been found naked and beaten to death in an alleyway is an
awful way to end a young life.
"I want to make sure that Becky’s son Jordan grows up knowing that we
caught his mum’s killer and I can only do that with the help of the
people of Bradford."
Det Ch Supt McLean appealed to anyone who knew Becky or had seen her
between Good Friday and April 26th to call police on their Freephone
hotline.

Officers investigating the murder of Rebecca Hall, whose body was
found on Thursday April 26th have established that she was wearing a
distinctive limited edition watch when she was last seen on Friday
April 13th.
Becky, aged 19, was found dead in an alleyway behind the car park at
Thornton Street, Bradford, on April 26th.
After extensive enquiries by detectives they have discovered that she
was wearing a limited edition South Park watch which has not been
recovered.
The watch features cartoon characters from South Park and has a black
material strap with the South Park logo on it and a velcro fastener.
The face is also surrounded by a silver dial. Only a limited number
have been made and they are only available from selected shops.
Officers have obtained a replica from the supplier, which is available
to photograph. Copies of a photograph are also available from Bradford
Central Police Station.
Becky was a working prostitute who frequented the Thornton Road area
and it was probable that was where she was heading towards when she
left her home at Lydford House, Off Elizabeth St, Little Horton in
Bradford at about 10pm on April 13th.
She died from severe head injuries and had sustained a vicious and
brutal beating.
Detective Ch Supt Max McLean continued to appeal to anyone who has
seen a watch matching the description in any circumstances to come
forward.
"Do you know anyone who wears one of these watches or have you found a
watch or been sold a watch like it," he said. "Even if someone has
innocently bought a South Park watch or has been given one as a gift
from someone it is important they contact us in confidence."
He also urged anyone who had seen someone wearing a South Park watch
of this type to phone officers via the Freephone hotline.
"It may have been found or handed to someone but it could link back to
Becky and it is important that we trace her missing watch," said Det
Ch Supt McLean.
Detectives, supported by incident room staff and forensic scientists,
are following many inquiries in their hunt for Becky's murderer.
Posters appealing for public information are also being circulated
across the Bradford district appealing for information about Becky and
her last known whereabouts.

REBECCA KILLED AT DIFFERENT LOCATION?
Detectives investigating the death of Rebecca Hall, whose body was
found on Thursday April 26th are now investigating the theory that she
was killed at a different location to where she was found.
Det Chief Superintendent Max McLean, who is heading the investigation,
said early scientific evidence suggested that Becky, aged 19, was not
killed in the alleyway behind the car park at Thornton Street,
Bradford.
Pathologists have also indicated that it was most likely that Becky
was killed only a few days before she was found. Therefore detectives
are strongly considering the theory that Becky was abducted and held
somewhere before she was killed and that her body was subsequently
dumped in Thornton Street some time around the 26th of April.
Becky leaves a four month old baby boy, Jordan and left her home at
Lydford House, Off Elizabeth St, Little Horton in Bradford at about
10pm on April 13th.

REBECCA HALL - INITIAL PRESS RELEASE
Police have now named the woman found yesterday (Thursday, April 26)
just after 12.30pm down an alleyway off Thornton St in Bradford.
She was 19 year old Rebecca Victoria Hall, who leaves a four month old
son, Jordon. The post mortem yesterday revealed she died of severe
head injuries and that her body may have been there for up to three
days.
Rebecca was a working prostitute who frequented the Thornton Road
area.
Rebecca was last seen on Good Friday, 13th April by friends at 10pm.
They reported her missing later that evening when she didn't return
home to her flat at Lydford House in the Little Horton area of Brad.
Her parents say she was a very loving mother and protective towards
her son, and had not been missing before.

terrible years of 1975 to 1980 - those TWO men being the Yorkshire

blood group B secretor. A DNA analysis from traces of saliva could
have nailed him and brought him to book, charged with attempting to
pervert the course of justice. It was not to be. Several months after
the initial inquiry, the somewhat embarrassed response came back:
'Sorry, we've lost the envelopes and there is no reasonable hope of us
finding them.' The hoaxer has never been traced and probably never

Billy Tracey is the man of mystery who casts a giant shadow over the
"official" version of the Yorkshire Ripper case.
In his book "The Real Yorkshire Ripper," author Noel O'Gara insists
that Billy Tracey is responsible for most of the killings associated
with the Yorkshire Ripper, and that Peter Sutcliffe was a less
prolific killer, an emotional cripple, whom the West Yorkshire Police
persuaded to confess to all the murders so as to bring down the
curtain on a highly embarrassing episode.
Noel O'Gara's book is the most honest on this subject.
Apart from that the most significant and most competent of the others
is "Deliver us from Evil" by David Yallop.
Yallop's book was completed just prior to Peter Sutcliffe's arrest,
then hastily revised to cash in on the aftermath and trial. That gives
it added interest.
For one thing, in his haste to get the book out in time for the court
case, Yallop did not see the huge significance of the elusive "Irish
suspect," who cropped up several times in the investigation, but was
never accounted for.
I try not to be too cynical, but if David Yallop had not been in such
a hurry to revise the book so as to cash in on the aftermath of
Sutcliffe's arrest, he might have followed the example of other
authors on the subject, and 'sanitised' his narrative a bit better.
Other writers have omitted or played down the "Irish suspect," and
have included only those 'mugshots' that resemble Peter Sutcliffe. In
his haste to cash in, David Yallop has left in place the police
artist's impression of the "Irish suspect," which is as good as a
photograph of Billy Tracey, and stands in sharp contrast to the images
that point toward Peter Sutcliffe.
It can't be just a coincidence - that this mysterious figure made his
presence felt at least three times during the hunt for the Yorkshire
Ripper, and that his description matches exactly that of Billy Tracey,
a man of quite unusual and distinctive appearance.
Billy Tracey should have been hunted down long ago and questioned and
fingerprinted and blood tested and DNA tested, in connection with the
murders of Emily Jackson and Jayne MacDonald just for a start, as well
as the now forgotten "incident with a prostitute at Bolton Woods,
Bradford in March 1975," and of course the still unsolved "Jack the
Stripper" killings in London in the 1960s, for all of which Billy
Tracey 'fits the frame.'

THE YORKSHIRE RIPPER COVER UP

Ten years ago I came across an advertisement for a book titled "The
Real Yorkshire Ripper" by a man called Noel O'Gara. It was 1996 and
I was living temporarily at the time in Chapeltown, Leeds, which had
been the hub of the Yorkshire Ripper investigation.
I was bewildered by Mr O'Gara's advertisement. Like everyone else
in Leeds, I had automatically assumed that the West Yorkshire Police
had been telling us the truth and that the newspapers had been
telling
us the truth when they said Peter Sutcliffe is the Yorkshire Ripper
and
that therefore the case was closed and our worries were over.
I resolved to read Mr Noel O'Gara's book, first in the Reference
Section of the Central Library in Leeds, to which Mr O'Gara had
donated a copy, and then afterwards I was quick to get my own copy of
this very important document.
The Yorkshire Ripper cover up is a complex subject. As if it were not
bad enough already, a further complication has been introduced this
year, 2006, by the bizarre trial and conviction of a vulnerable
alcoholic John Humble as the 'hoaxer' who supposedly was
responsible for the letters and tape which the West Yorkshire Police
said were definitely the work of the Yorkshire Ripper at the height
of
the furore in 1979. What I can say for sure about John Humble, having
listened repeatedly to recordings of his voice alongside recordings
of
the voice on the Yorkshire Ripper tape of 1979 - is that John
Humble's voice is NOT the voice on the Ripper tape and that John
Humble has been framed. This is obvious to anyone who just does a bit
of homework. And that explains the sparse, low-key media coverage of
the John Humble fiasco.
Readers of this article will probably be new to the subject of the
Yorkshire Ripper cover up, or else will consider themselves to be
well
informed on the matter in their belief that there is no cover up, and
that Peter Sutcliffe is the Yorkshire Ripper, and that the only
problem
around here is that the West Yorkshire Police took a long time to
apprehend Peter Sutcliffe.
The truth is much more complex. The reason the West Yorkshire Police
took so long to catch Peter Sutcliffe is that Peter Sutcliffe has a
different blood type to the Yorkshire Ripper and therefore Peter
Sutcliffe is NOT the Yorkshire Ripper. Peter Sutcliffe murdered
about
four women in the north of England during 1975-1980.
By a bizarre confluence of events..........
.........Sutcliffe's activities took place at just the
same time as another, much more intelligent and much more cunning
serial killer also began attacking women in the Yorkshire area.
There are indications that the REAL Yorkshire Ripper was well aware
of
Peter Sutcliffe's amateurish attacks on women in the north of
England, and decided to play him and the police off against one
another, to confuse the police all the more and to cover his tracks.
The REAL Yorkshire Ripper was clearly an extremely evil and
intelligent
and cunning man, who knew he was the intellectual superior of the
police and who took a delight in tormenting the police by confusing
and
tantalising them. The appearance of the amateurish, idiotic woman-
hater
Peter Sutcliffe on the scene around 1975 was a bonus for the REAL
Yorkshire Ripper, who exploited the situation to torment the police
all
the more. In the end, the REAL Yorkshire Ripper drove Assistant Chief
Constable George Oldfield into an early grave.
The whole truth about the Yorkshire Ripper fiasco is so complex that
it
cannot be covered in an article of this size. What I can do now is to

Police forces in many countries have learned from experience that
it's
not in the police's interests to say that murders are linked and that
there is a
serial killer at large. In England they learned that with with
Yorkshire Ripper shambles.
Cops are public sector workers. The aim of public sector workers in
general is to do as little work as possible and to demand pay rises
and
inflation-linked pensions for doing next to nothing.
Sixty per cent of public sector workers in England are redundant,
unemployed, social security claimants in disguise, occupying non-jobs
and pretending to be employed. Gordon Brown's policy is to create a
vast army of public sector "employees" to disguise the unemployment
figures and also to buy votes for New Labour, as the bums occupying
all
these public sector non-jobs will tend to vote New Labour so as to
keep
their non-jobs after the election. The cops are in on this act.
As for the latest Ripper-style killings, I don't live in Suffolk, but
if we were to examine the way this present investigation developed,
we
probably would detect the standard reluctance to say the murders were
linked until the cops had no choice
but to do so.
It is insulting to the public when the cops think they have to
'prevent
panic' by withholding the knowledge that a serial killer is at large,
until they can no longer conceal it. It's about making life easy for
the cops. They are terrified of ending up in the same position of
poor
old George Oldfield in 1981, when he had to face the fact that he was
never going to be able to catch the Yorkshire Ripper and had no
choice
but to go along with Ron Gregory, Dick Holland and Jim Hobson in
pretending Peter Sutcliffe is the Yorkshire Ripper. Poor old Oldfield
drank himself to death in the months following the phoney Peter
Sutcliffe trial. All senior police officers in England know what
happened to George Oldfield, and so they are anxious both to keep the
Yorkshire Ripper cover up under wraps, and also to avoid as much as
possible any linking of murders that might indicate a serial killer.
There should be a name for it.

PETER SUTCLIFFE'S KILLINGS AND ASSAULTS, 1975 - 1980

Nobody disputes that Peter Sutcliffe committed four of the
series of murders known as the Yorkshire Ripper killings. It is
likely that he killed or attacked other women too during that
period. Most prominent among Sutcliffe's victiims were Yvonne
Pearson, 1978, and Margo Walls and Jacqueline Hill in 1980. We
all agree that Peter Sutcliffe killed those three women. Yet,
in the days following all three murders, the West Yorkshire
Police were emphatic in saying these were not Ripper killings.
All that changed in January 1981 when Peter Sutcliffe forced
the police to arrest him by displaying fake number plates in a
red light district outside the West Yorkshire juridiction. The
police knew Sutcliffe was not the Ripper, but faced with the
prospect of never being able to catch the real Ripper, and with
the deranged idiot Sutcliffe willing to confess to all the
murders, the West Yorkshire Police took the easy way out and
made a deal with Sutcliffe for his confessions, allowing the
main Ripper to go free and continue killing, which he did, as
the record shows. A man like the Yorkshire Ripper will not stop
killing until he is captured or killed.
The following reports from the period detail police statements
following Peter Sutcliffe's three most prominent murders. The
police insisted these were not Ripper killings...... until the
time came to rewrite history.

ground at the back of the Arndale Centre, almost within view of

with the 12-times killer whose last victim was Bradford
University student 14 months ago.
One police theory gaining strength was that Miss Hill, a
student of French, could have been the victim of the same man
who attacked another woman in Headingley two months ago.
On September 24, Dr Upaehya Bandara, 34, who had come from
Singapore on a World Health Organization scholarship to study
at Leeds University was attacked at Chapel Lane, Headingley.
She was left for dead with severe head injuries in a pool of
blood but survived. Police have not ruled out the possibility
that Dr Bandara's attacker was the same man who murdered Miss
Margo Walls, a middle-aged civil servant, late at night in a
garden of New Street, Pudsey, in August.
Det. Supt. Alf Finlay, who is leading the inquiry into Miss
Hill's death, said: "There is no evidence at the moment to link
this death with the so-called Yorkshire Ripper. We have not
ruled him out yet, but we have nothing to suggest it's him.

Ripper inquiry, visited the murder scene and said later: "This

the man who attacked her was not the Yorkshire Ripper.
The man who attacked Tracey Brown WAS Peter Sutcliffe, yes....

History will have to be rewritten after Ronald Gregory and Jim Hobson

The Yorkshire Ripper case is unique in the annals of true crime on

The Yorkshire Ripper is considered to be the most notorious serial

committing that series of murders in the north of England during those

each other and unknown to each other, began attacking women in the
north of England from 1975 onward.
These two men never planned this confluence of events, and never met.
It was just a bizarre confluence of events. Yet by 1977, the two men -
Peter Sutcliffe and the REAL Yorkshire Ripper, had become well aware
of each other's existence, and were apparently engaged in a bizarre
tit-for-tat game, each one reacting to the previous killing by the
other.
Only Noel O'Gara made the correct analysis of this amazing confluence
of events.
All other crime writers slavishly and gullibly followed the police /
media line.
Anyone who knows anything about the Yorkshire Ripper case knows that
there were not one but TWO Yorkshire Rippers during those terrible
years of 1975 - 1980.
Peter Sutcliffe was the pathetic, henpecked, amateur, imitation
Ripper.
The REAL Yorkshire Ripper was never caught, and he is still walking
free on the streets of England today, and still murdering your

responsible for all the murders, that he had agreed to plead guilty to
all the murders that they presented to him and that ...his solicitor

JS: Yes, that's all very true... now, the deal was to be worked out
between the police and the legal people and ... eventually, when Mr
Justice Boreham was put in charge of the court proceedings, he
demanded that there be a trial at the Old Bailey, which wasn't part of
the original agreement. So, it was arraigned there, and during that
trial, no less a person than the Attorney General, Sir Michael Havers,
actually pleaded Peter's case for him and tried to get him sent to a
mental home..............

A delusional judge of the circuit court in Athlone.
IN THE INTERESTS OF JUSTICE

How could this not be noticed?
How could this not be seen and why didn’t anybody do anything about
it?
All it takes is for one person to stand idly by and do nothing and
this is what happened here.
These are the words of Judge Miriam Reynolds in the recent Roscommon
incest trial.
Yet when those words were quoted by the writer in Athlone circuit
court last month, judge Anthony Kennedy told the speaker to shut up
and muzzled him in a public courtroom.
That speaker, Noel O’Gara, a qualified
accountant who was facing charges of auditing his companies accounts
while not qualified to do so, was trying to draw Judge Kennedy’s
attention to a failure by the police to solve a multiple murder case
by getting the confessions of a deranged copycat killer for the
murders, thereby leaving the real killer at liberty.
The murders took place in England and the killer had worked in
Athlone for Noel O’Gara who knew him intimately and witnessed the
frame up of Peter Sutcliffe.
I was in court and evidence was given of service of a summons by two
detectives from the Fraud squad in Dublin who admitted that there was
no question of fraud in this case.
I wished to question one of them about his failure to do his duty when
he approached me, in not investigating the allegations of murder that
I had made to him and given him a book about it.
I had written a book outlining the evidence
which proves that the Yorkshire Ripper case was fatally flawed and the
real killer was still a free man and judge Kennedy knew about these
allegations already but he rejected all my attempts to expose this
failure by the police or mention it in court in my defence.

Judge Kennedy violated my fundamental rights both under Bunreacth na
hEireann and the European Convention on Human Rights in the following
ways.
He flatly refused my request for a jury trial.
He silenced me when I tried to quote the words of judge Miriam
Reynolds quoted above.
He wouldn’t allow me to cross examine two witnesses for the
prosecution and he ordered them off the stand as I tried to question
them.
He refused me the right to give sworn evidence in my defense in the
court and so I was convicted by what amounted to a kangaroo court
presided over by a delusional judge and not worthy of this republic
and the rule of law that it is constituted under.
He refused my appeal and actually threatened me with imprisonment for
no good reason while a mass murderer remains at large but the hitherto
respected judge didn’t want to hear a word about that.
Article 40 of the Irish Constitution which Judge Kennedy is sworn to
uphold, outlines the fundamental rights of the citizens and states
that all citizens are held equal before the law.
It also states that ‘Titles of nobility shall not be conferred by
the State’
Yet judge Kennedy encourages lawyers to call him ‘My Lord’ and they
respond to his delusions of nobility copiously.
Clearly such a delusional person sitting as a judge is unfit to for
high office in a democratic republic.
One can understand but not forgive a member of the Gardai passing the
buck when told about a dangerous murderer but when such an allegation
is brought to the attention of a judge and he threatens you with
imprisonment, then there is something seriously wrong if that judge
represents the state.
With judges such as Anthony Kennedy sitting in Ireland nobody is safe
and he should be removed immediately and investigated for the safety
of the public and to protect the integrity of the judicial system in
this state and our constitution which sets the republic of Ireland
apart from the monarchial system of Britain where the monarch has
equated himself with God and hands out lordships to the enforcers of
this delusion.

down in history.

The above poem was composed by Peter William Sutcliffe
and sent to a local newspaper in Yorkshire in 1979.
By that time, Peter Sutcliffe was desperate to get himself arrested
and placed in long term psychiatric care.
"Bradford was not me" refers to the fact that there were TWO men
committing that series of murders in the north of England during
those
terrible years of 1975 to 1980 - those TWO men being the Yorkshire
Ripper and Peter Sutcliffe.
And Peter Sutcliffe was the lesser of the two, the fake, the amateur,
the wimp who could not measure up to the degree of ruthlessness and
cunning displayed by the REAL Yorkshire Ripper.
The West Yorkshire Police were to'ing and fro'ing like headless
chickens during those years............ The Yorkshire Ripper was
clearly the INTELLECTUAL SUPERIOR of the West Yorkshire Police, and
was running rings around them, and the presence of the emotionally

which he would explain that he did not kill all of those girls, and
would reveal which of the girls he killed and which ones were killed

What has happened to that proposed book?
Peter Sutcliffe clearly wanted to publish it.
It would be an expected impulse for such a troubled man, incarcerated
and denied outlets for emotional and intellectual expression.

only thing that gave him an identity.
Obviously he wanted to play it up for all it's worth, and to be the
somebody that his oppressive father had never let him be.

the author of that proposed book.
It would have been every publisher's dream: new and sensational

Well it will never be proved beyond doubt, because the West Yorkshire
Police will never co-operate and even a confession, if it happened,
would be ignored. Personally I don't know for certain that Billy
Tracey did those other murders but it looks like it.
Also I don't know for sure that he's alive still; he just dropped out
of sight in 1984 and although there have been "sightings," I can't say
they are genuine.
Getting the "Two Rippers" paragraph into Wikipedia was a breakthrough,
because, like it or not, it's widely read as a first-stop source of

coincidence that they both started attacking women in the north of
England in the 1970s, then they gradually became aware of each other's
existence, and then they apparently were engaged with one another in a
"BEAUTY CONTEST IN HELL," each reacting to the other's latest
killing.... although Tracey was the intelligent and cunning one, and
he seemed to be inviting the cops to frame Sutcliffe for all the
killings, whenever they finally gave up hope of catching him
(Tracey).....
Sutcliffe played right into his hands, as Sutcliffe was increasingly
tormented by the double life he was living and wanted to be taken into
institutional care, away from his frigid wife Sonia Szurma, a typical,
frigid East European woman (older generation I mean... young East

To refer to the Yorkshire Ripper investigation as "a shambles" is the
understatement of all time.
By 1980, George Oldfield was drinking heavily and close to a heart
attack. The West Yorkshire Police were under increasing pressure from
Margaret Thatcher and William Whitelaw to close the case, by fair
means or foul, to end the international scandal whereby the English
police were an international laughing stock, "Keystone Cops," unable
to catch the Yorkshire Ripper.
Things were coming to a head, one way or another.
The Yorkshire Ripper was "playing" the police, and was beyond their
reach.
By contrast, the emotionally crippled, henpecked idiot Peter
Sutcliffe
had had enough, enough of working his arse off at a tough job for no
return, enough of being tormented by his frigid wife Sonia, enough of
his unfulfilling wanking sessions over the dying women he managed to
creep up on, enough of failing to compete with the toughness and
cunning of the REAL Yorkshire Ripper whom Peter Sutcliffe was trying
to emulate.
When Peter Sutcliffe forced the cops to arrest him in January 1981,
the result was inevitable. The pressure from Margaret Thatcher and
William Whitelaw was irresistable. Close the case. Pretend that Peter
Sutcliffe is the Yorkshire Ripper. Gloss over the subsequent killings
by the Yorkshire Ripper in the years after 1981, and just hope to
keep
the whole thing under wraps.
But the investigation had been so chaotic and shambolic that there
would be some loose ends to "tie up."

investigation remains the identity of the man with the Geordie accent
who sent George Oldfield the infamous letters and tape..............
In 1999, during the production of the ITV documentary 'MANHUNT: The
Search for the Yorkshire Ripper,' a request was made by the
production
team to West Yorkshire Police for facilities to film a DNA test being
made on the envelopes the letters and tape came in. It would have
been
a way of showing the great changes the police had made in the
detection of crime. The intention was to see if the DNA matched any
of
the profiles held in the then fledgling national DNA database. If it
did not, then DNA from the envelopes - from the gum on theflap, or
from the stamp the sender would have licked - could be registered on
the database of crime scene profiles. If the person who sent the
tapes
was arrested for a reportable crime in the future, then the police
could identify him. Forensic scientists had already shown he was a
blood group B secretor. A DNA analysis from traces of saliva could
have nailed him and brought him to book, charged with attempting to
pervert the course of justice. It was not to be. Several months after
the initial inquiry, the somewhat embarrassed response came back:
'Sorry, we've lost the envelopes and there is no reasonable hope of
us
finding them.' The hoaxer has never been traced and probably never
will be." -Michael Bilton, 2003.

Humble,

The "Two Rippers" paragraph which was earlier added to the Wikipedia
entry for "Yorkshire Ripper," has been quietly removed.
It's difficult to have much respect for Wikipedia generally.
I tend to avoid Wikipedia now.
For any reference to the Yorkshire Ripper case, whether encyclopedia
or news article or tv documentary or book - for any such report to
OMIT the mention of the FACT that the police and media were stating
consistently during the two years prior to Peter Sutcliffe's arrest
that there were not one but TWO men committing the series of muders
known as the Yorkshire Ripper killings - that is a startling omission
and is indicative of:
1. cowardice
or
2. corruption

The case of Sonia McCann brings home to us the ripples of human
tragedy that flow from each such deliberate frame up for the sake of
closing a case and satisfying a gullible public.

The Yorkshire Ripper case is special because it was the first high-
profile serial killer case to be played out on our TV screens, in the
television age but just prior to the database/internet age.... That
gives it a unique prominence in British criminal history and in the
public consciousness.
Ruling groups have a maxim that it's better to tell big lies than
small ones, because if you tell big lies the public will be afraid to
question them, afraid to face the implications of confronting such a
big lie.
That's why those trendies who rant and rave about police corruption
and think they are big tough guys because they call the police corrupt
- want nothing at all to do with the Yorkshire Ripper cover up.
It's too scary, even for all those tough guys - in what it reveals

The above poem apparently was composed by Peter William Sutcliffe and
sent to a local newspaper in Yorkshire in 1979.
By that time, Peter Sutcliffe was desperate to get himself arrested
and placed in long term psychiatric care.
"Bradford was not me" refers to the fact that there were TWO men
committing that series of murders in the north of England during
those terrible years of 1975 to 1980 - those TWO men being the
Yorkshire
Ripper and Peter Sutcliffe.
And Peter Sutcliffe was the lesser of the two, the fake, the amateur,
the wimp who could not measure up to the degree of ruthlessness and
cunning displayed by the REAL Yorkshire Ripper.
The West Yorkshire Police were to'ing and fro'ing like headless
chickens during those years............ The Yorkshire Ripper was
clearly the INTELLECTUAL SUPERIOR of the West Yorkshire Police, and
was running rings around them, and the presence of the emotionally
crippled, henpecked woman-hater Peter Sutcliffe on the scene was a
bonus for the Yorkshire Ripper, giving him the means to torment
George Oldfield all the more, and to drive George Oldfield into an
early grave.

Peter Sutcliffe - increasingly tortured and tormented by his frigid
wife Sonia - went off the rails and started assaulting and later
killing women in the north of England around 1974.
By a bizarre confluence of events, which did not become clear until a
few years later, Peter Sutcliffe's sneaky attacks on women coincided
with the emergence in the north of England of another, much more
clever, more cunning and more brutal serial killer who was dubbed
"The
Yorkshire Ripper," after he murdered Wilma McCann and Emily Jackson
in
Leeds within months of each other, leaving the same "trademarks" at
the scene and on their bodies.
That was the Yorkshire Ripper.
The Peter Sutcliffe case was quite separate from the Yorkshire Ripper
case, although they coincided in time and so became confused with one
another.
Peter Sutclifffe was increasingly going insane and after a while, in
response to the headlines in the tabloid press, he came to imagine
himself to be the Yorkshire Ripper.
Sutcliffe did not know what were the "trademarks" of the Ripper, so
when Sutcliffe murdered Carole Wilkinson, Dick Holland and the gang
knew she was not a Ripper victim.
When a tenuous link to Anthony Steel was suggested by a fake witness,
the whole rotten, corrupt Dick Holland / West Yorkshire Keystone Cops
machinery swung into action, and soon a "confession" was produced.
As the months passed, the REAL Yorkshire Ripper and Peter Sutcliffe
became aware of each other's existence, but never met, although they
competed with each other and responded to each other's murders.
After Peter Sutcliffe - desperate to end his ordeal and be taken into
institutional care - forced the police to arrest him outside the West
Yorkshire jurisdiction, the REAL Yorkshire Ripper just went on
killing
as before, and his killings after Sutcliffe's arrest were dubbed by
the media "new ripper" / "imitation ripper."

I could only have happened in the late 1970s.
The age of universal television in everyone's living room, but prior
to the computer age.
Already the Vietnam war had been fought in everybody's living room,
followed by Seamus Twomey's bombing campaign in Northern Ireland,
again played out on TV screens in front of the entire population of
the world.
Into this television age / pre-computer / pre-internet age, stepped
the Yorkshire Ripper.
For the first time in European history, a serial killer scare was
played out on TV screens in everybody's living room, as it unfolded,
with each new discovery of each new mangled body.... placing
unbearable and unprecedented pressure on George Oldfield.

Obviously the Yorkshire Ripper was no amateur.
When he murdered Wilma McCann and Emily Jackson within months of one
another, leaving the soon-to-be-familiar trademarks of the Ripper on
their bodies, this was the work of a professional, a practiced killer,
who did not just appear out of nowhere in Scott Hall Avenue,
Chapeltown, Leeds in 1975. This man was a real professional. This man
had a history.
The "Jack the Stripper" killings in London in the 1960s remain
unsolved to this day.
Was Jack the Stripper and the Yorkshire Ripper the same man?
Whatever his history, the Yorkshire Ripper was no amateur.
Peter Sutcliffe WAS an amateur.
And Peter Sutcliffe was NOT the Yorkshire Ripper.
The Yorkshire Ripper case looms large in the annals of criminal
history for that reason - it occurred in that unique era.... the age
of television, prior to the age of the computers / internet.
And it occurred before violent crime became commonplace.

Ripper - Tabloid Killer" which states what - to me - is a new theory
on the 1888 affair - that the letter signed Jack the Ripper sent to a
news agency in 1888 was written by a journalist for the sole purpose
of boosting newspaper sales.
The suspect is Frederick Best, an insignificant journalist with 'The
Star,' no relation of today's paper of that name, but the pioneer of
what we now call tabloid journalism.
The Star had been launched in the same year, 1888, and was desperate
to increase circulation.
Their target audience was the increasingly literate poorer classes.
The experience was that each time a murder occurred, newspaper sales
went soaring.
So there was a temptation to manufacture news.
The tv documentary is new, as the copyright date at the end is 2010.
There could be speculation that the Ripper letters and tape of 1979,
which definitely were modelled on the 1888 letter, were also the work
of a journalist.
However, to do so would be to question the John Humble conviction,
which the mainstream press are unlikely to do.
