Hi everybody,

Attached are the option files for the X-Plane Great Planes PT-60 trainer / MatrixPilot-SIL.

1- The option - PT-60 - 3 axis corresponds to the default GP PT-60 RC airplane you can find in X-Plane.

2- The option - PT-60 - 2 axis.h file corresponds to a modified GP PT-60 RC (the wing dihedral has been increased to 6°).

3- To create the modified 2 axis PT-60 trainer just copy the ...\Aircraft\Radio Control\GP_PT_60 directory
Rename it into GP_PT_60_2_axis for example.
Then replace the PT60RC.acf model file by the one attached to this post.

Have a nice week end.

-Paul

Hi Paul,

I just started using X-Plane 9 and HILSIM to aid in testing the _mw4 branch of MatrixPilot.

Do you have any opinion on how well the simulated PT-60 models a real PT-60?

regards, Mark

Hi Mark,

I think pretty good.

I have left the UDB aside for a long time now and I think the option files I had attached in my first post are corrupted.

The files attached in this post are more recent, they should be OK.

Regards,
Paul

Thanks Paul,

I see that your 3-axis rollkp and yawkp_aileron are not too different from what I've been using, but I have a fairly large roll_elev_mix where you have zero.

My goal is to modify the X-Plane PT-60 model to match the characteristics of each of my flight test aircraft, and to use HILSIM for initial tuning plus pre-flight testing.

thanks, Mark
