I was surprised to find out that 95% of our users (sample set of a
couple hundred) complete the oauth flow and approve access to at least
one twitter account. What experiences have other developers had in
relation to this?

When you say 95%, do you derive that percentage from the number of
people who click on "access via OAuth" (or whatever) and then "Allow"
the authorization? Or do you mean 95% of the unauthenticated who
visit your particular page authenticate via OAuth?

95% of users who signed up on our site have also started and completed
the oauth flow successfully. So if we had 100 users, 95 of them would
have allowed us to access at least one of their Twitter accounts.
