So many things worth mentioning
Fernwood Tonight
Clue
Arrested Development
I own most of his comedy albums on vinyl (not sure they’ve been released on
modern media).
It’s so hard so say goodbye, so let’s just say Hors D’Oeuvre.

It's absolutely criminal that Amazon will sell you a box containing the entire run of a series about a talking super car, but if you search for "Fernwood 2Night", all you get is a bag of dirt.
I downloaded the (mostly) entire run of "Fernwood" a couple of years ago, and it's still one of the best things I've ever done. "Clue", for all its faults, is one of my favorite movies, and two of the moments that make me literally laugh out loud every single time are just Martin Mull doing bits of physical comedy.
Damn.

Colonel Mustard: Are you trying to make me look stupid in front of the
other guests?
Wadsworth: You don't need any help from me, sir.
Colonel Mustard: That's right!

At this point, I am — to borrow a phrase from Dave S — hate watching this
series. The online Star Wars community has nicknamed the big bad villain
Darth Teeth because of his unintentionally comedic helmet ornamentation.
And the big villain reveal… really… that’s your Hitler?!
I will only add one other observation, which is hardly original but it is
worth revisiting: the Jedi always, and I mean always, get their collective
asses kicked in battle. We see so many Jedi die in the movies and tv shows
that we are desensitized to it. I was looking forward to this series
because it was to be focused on the Jedi and I wanted to see them at the
top of their game, only to discover apparently they’ve always sucked.

Tony Hale ("Veep") and Sheryl Lee Ralph ("Abbott Elementary"); of course,
it's only being streamed. See you July 17th...

(For those who wondered, my power went out in a storm Wed. (26) just before
7.30pm east, came back just after 1pm Thurs. Sucks to have no fans or AC.)

Huh. I was going to say "there's a name I haven't heard in a while", but
that's not actually true - I've been watching Vice's "Who Killed WCW?", and
Kellner's name comes up in the 4th episode as the final nail in WCW's
coffin re: their timeslots on the Turner networks.
Interestingly, every network Kellner has had hands on - FOX, TheWB/CW,
TNT/TBS - has added (WWE SmackDown on FOX, WWE NXT soon to air on the CW)
or restored (AEW programming on the Turner Nets) pro wrestling to their air.
