A source told Bloomberg News (link) a longform standup piece by the comic/actor is still on for release Nov 28th... another told them work on his planned NBC sitcom also is still ongoing...

The source was wrong or they later changed their decision:

Netflix has scrapped plans to premiere the Cosby comedy special it had scheduled for the day after Thanksgiving. “At this time we are postponing the launch of the new stand-up comedy special Bill Cosby 77,” Netflix said in a statement Tuesday night.

Also reported by TheWrap (link), following accusations against him by Janice Dickinson.

Dickinson didn't mention the rape in her autobiography, just the other stuff.  Does this undermine her assertions?

The lawyers wouldn't let her. But it was in her original manuscript (reportedly).

Rather than start a new thread, I'll add it here: NBC has cancelled the show that's in development.

Maybe Cosby and Kevin Clash can tour together.

Then both are still coming here to Charleston at the end of March. (Perhaps the Rev Camden can deliver the invocation?)

And NPR says that TV Land has stopped airing "Cosby Show" reruns at least temporarily.

He was, but the media and public opinion killed his career regardless, because they always know best.

Next thing you know, people will still be harassing Paul Reubens for things he may or may not have done...

I get the feeling a lot of people have not actually listened to Simon's interview with Cosby - the question about the rape allegations could hardly be described as "harassing". Here is the relevant transcript, which comes at the end, after Simon has had a very nice conversation with the Cosby's about African and African American art:

"SCOTT SIMON: "This question gives me no pleasure, Mr. Cosby, but there have been serious allegations raised about you in recent days."
BILL COSBY: [SILENCE]
SIMON: "You're shaking your head no. I'm in the news business. I have to ask the question. Do you have any response to those charges?"
COSBY: [SILENCE]
SIMON: "Shaking your head no. There are people who love you who might like to hear from you about this. I want to give you the chance."
COSBY: [SILENCE]
SIMON: "Alright. Camille and Bill Cosby. They have lent 62 pieces from their collection of African and African-American art to create an exhibit called Conversations: African and African American Artworks in Dialogue. It's now on display at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art through early 2016. Thank you both."
