The help documentation and discussion forum indicate that some work was
going on to support sqlalchemy for paginate. Like to know whether it is
incorporated in 1.0b2...

thanks

The docs should probably have a link to this, but you can find the
whole thing in a trac ticket. Evidently "paginate.py diff 6" is the one
you want.

Thanks! Some layman questions:

1. Could not trace whether the patches are already applied in 1.0b2.
Does the ticket status showing "new" mean that it is yet to be applied?
2. If it is not applied yet, would need guidence on how to apply these
in my installation.
3. Will applying only paginate.py diff 6 be sufficient or, I need to
apply some other dependencies patches?

thanks

I would assume that this has not been applied due to the ticket's
status.

The answer to that question is highly dependent on your system. If you
are running windows (or OS X? not sure) ou will need to get a copy of
the GNU program 'patch'. Most linux systems should already have it or a
very easy way to get it. You can start here:
http://www.gnu.org/software/patch/patch.html

Docs on using that should be easy enough to find. Let me know if you
hit any snags or have questions.

It looks like you should only need diff 6, but I would have to test it
to be sure.

Hi Adam,

Thanks a lot! I found "patch" already installed in my system(FC5).
Thinking to apply all patches, rather than taking the risk of applying
only one...

thanks

I would recommend applying only the last one first. Either way keep a
backup of the original file to make testing easier.

Thanks a lot again, Adam. I applied the diff 6 only and things are
working nicely. Hereby submit a positive feedback about the patch
(feedback for it was asked in the thread where this patch is discussed)

Superb, thanks Sanjay. Could you also add this comment to the ticket
so it doesn't get lost?
