Frank & others:

I'm experimenting with TTPub to see about implementing it for UC
Berkeley - Bear Transit.

First, compliments: For someone with zero Java experience, I was
pleasantly surprised how easy it was to install TTPub and get up-and-
running on my Mac! You've done a great job at making that process
easy for folks like me.

From there, I've hit a few crucial sticky points. The main one is
that I can't find a way of showing more than ten timing points unless
I choose to "bypass configurations." Should I go to the FreeMarker
templates to change a value for a maximum number of columns or timing
points?

Sorry if this is a novice question.

Hi Aaron,

There's a MAX_TIMEPOINTS property (currently set to 10) in ttpub/
config/TimeTableProperties.properties. Set that to whatever you want
the max to be, restart tomcat, and you're good to go.

Better yet, there's a proposal for a 'timepoint' field in
stop_times.txt. If you include such a field, with the value of 1 (eg:
1 == true) for your timepoints, and 0 for the rest of the stops, then
your columns for the timetable are defined within the schedule data.
Also, the use of the timepoint flag should override the MAX_TIMEPOINTS
check. See this post for more info.

Take care,
