It depends if this other calendar support synchronisation via CalDAV.
To my knowledge, it is not the case of Google Calendar.

How should it be done?

I am interested in Google calendar because it is accessible from internet and from android phones. If there is another solution, i am open to it.

I don't know it is up to the calendar to implement.

You can use any CalDAV client you want.

AFAIK Google calendars *do* support CalDAV. They say "Please note that
this is considered an experimental feature with limited technical
assistance available."
(http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=99358)

Here is the code of a background process that synchronizes Lino
calendars (one per user) with a Google calendar:
http://code.google.com/p/lino/source/browse/lino/modlib/cal/management/commands/watch_calendars.py

Note that this code is not yet actively being used, so there's no
warranty. But it worked a few months ago during tests with with my
private Google calendar.

This is not in the right way. Of course Google calendar export an
interface via CalDAV but they don't synchronize the calendar with an
other via CalDAV.

Proof that Google Calendar doesn't support it :-)
