Given the 50+ temps in the forecast tomorrow and it'll also be low tide in the afternoon, I'm going to hit the beach for a run if anyone wants to join me. I should get there about 3:15pm.

Will start at the main parking lot at Pine Point off Avenue Five (it's off-season so free parking) in Scarborough. Will run past the OOB pier to the small inlet and back which is eight miles round trip. Pace will be slow as I'll likely be barefoot.

Sounds like fun Jamie. I'm doing something similiar (Eastern Trail to
Pine Point to the beach) but at around 7a 'cause I've got school
tomorow afternoon. Otherwise I'd love to join.

If anyones up for an early morning Scarborough run let me know.
Otherwise enjoy the warm temps and the barefoot beach runnin'!

I'm game for 7 miles (don't want to cross over to 8 though)

I think I can get down there by 3:15. Sounds good. Warning - the one time I ran 8 miles on the beach barefoot felt great until about mile 6. Starting about mile 5 I could feel the soles of my feet getting slight microabrasions. By mile 6 it felt like I was running on glass shards (which in effect is not too different from beach sand). By mile 8 it was slightly less than quite painful. But because the abrasions were so micro, the healing was almost instant.

Awesome, glad it sounds like I'll have some company! Should be a great day for it. See you guys tomorrow.

All this talk about beach running, I had to bust out of here and do a quick
couple miles of skate skiing on my neighbors' fields. The snow was actually
pretty good, by this year's standards. Also, hope to make it to the Pratt's
Brook run tonight.
