INTRO: Simplicity a TiddlySpace

Hi Folks,
I am happy to announce Simplicity [1] a minimalistic space.
It should attract TiddlyWiki / TiddlySpace first time users.
It is intended to publish _linear_ text pages, with a minimal number
of subpages ~1-10 but using the full power of TiddlyWiki. (CamelCase
linking, which brings back the non-linear behaviour).
If you need a new main title, create a new space.
The browser "back/forward" buttons work.
Edit mode is minimalistic too. Try it, and you'll see :)
Simplicity can clone itself into a new space. It is not intended to be
included into other spaces. It's no theme!
The only thing, that's not minimalistic, at the moment, is it's
download size :)

That's terrific Mario, thank you. I tested it on the iPad and it's
pretty usable, and looks great.

No disctractions, real nice.
I would perhaps make the navigation a little more prominent... perhaps
bigger (font-size and padding), but then with a font-color that has
little contrasting to the bg, pretty much as it is now I guess. Maybe
a padding to the buttons alone would do already.
Eventually, if clicking on any blank space in a tiddler (that isn't a
link or the likes itself) would allow to move on to the next or
previous tiddler - as in a fancybox or lightbox - that would be
fantastic. For example, if you hover over (the left or right side of)
a tiddler you would see the arrows on top highlighted, indicating that
clicking right where you are will take you to the next or previous
tiddler in the sequence.

How does one create or edit tiddlers in this kind of space? And how
does one convert an existing space into this simplicity style/theme?

they are invisible, until the tiddler is hovered?

If you are logged in, you'll have a minimum interface in the top
toolbar.
[edit title] [edit subtitle] [new page]
Page names are automatically created and not displayed. Use !heading1
if you need a chapter title.
If you have CammelCase in your text and click that. It will create a
Tiddler as known from TW.

You need to log in with the name and password you used to create the
simplicity space.
If you are used to be logged in with a different name ... you have to
add this identity to your simplicity space.

I passed by the phone shop earlier this week and looked at your space
on a demo iPad: looks great - it really fits with asthetic.
The is something curious about touching the tiddlers and then kinda
"going into them" .. or perhaps breaking the surface ...

I only saw it once and in view mode. Double tapping, zooms a little
bit, which I liked very much. But I deffinitely have to improve next/
previous
buttons. Thinking about Tobias idea above.

@all iPad owners:
It would be nice, to get some feedback, if edit mode breaks something.
So I could fix it.

however I can't produce more than eight tiddlers, then everything
freezes. (I've tested it in FireFox 4.0.1. and Google Chrome, both in
Windows and Linux from 3 different internetconnections, yesterday and
today...)
Is this intended behaviour - or am I doing something wrong?
I've added you as a member - then you can test and see if you get the
same behaviour.. (@pmario)

I didn't test the environment, but the _no feature_ you found is fixed
now :) It should count up to 998 pages.
I also entered some more whitespace on Page (004). Hope you like it
that way. I think, it improves the readability.
About whitespace
I included the LinkeBreakHack plugin [1] into the simplicity space. I
think, this also improves the readability of the editor text. You have
to have 2 additional linebreaks between 2 paragraphs.
eg:
line 1 paragraph 1
line 2 paragraph 1
line 3 paragraph 1
line 1 paragraph 2

I used Simplicity because I was in a hurry - and it is exactly what it
says on the label - it's *fun* to use, and I didn't have to "think"
when I used it.
Very nice theme and idea - thank you very much... (I will take a look
at it's alter ego too - just have to follow up on the tw-os project
first.. )
