What I started my first TW this morning I got a message saying, "The application's digital signature has an error. Do you want to run the application?" The application is identified as TiddlySaver. I am given the option to "always trust this application." Sure enough, if I ignore that and simply elect to run the application, the TW will not save changes.

This is in Safari in OSX. It does not happen in FF. I take it it's safe to check the "always trust" box.

Why do I get this message with Safari and not FF?

Thanks,

The signature on the jar has been renewed with the latest release
(2.6.0), you can get the new jar at the tiddlywiki.com homepage. It
should be alright after that.

Firefox doesn't use the jar file so you get no error in it.
