Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server localhost responded: negative vibes (GMail)

Recently I Webamail extension doesn't work correctly, showing this
message

"Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server localhost responded:
negative vibes (GMail)"

Looking inside "popConnectionLog.txt" file all seems ok:

Any problems logging in using a browser

No problem logging with a browser (Firefox).

I've found out that if I change the Google account password,
Thunderbird can download (POP3) messages correctly, but only the first
time.
After the first download, the error comes up again.
