The Hotmail extension is not working after Windows Live Hotmail
update. I tried both Version 1.2.18 and Version 1.2.19b3. The result
was "negative vibes" error in Thunderbird 2.0.0.17. I get the same
error in Windows XP or Kubuntu 8.04.

Same for me. It started yesterday.
I logged in manually to my hotmail account and discovered a greeting
message announcing a new, simpler interface.
I guess that's the reason the extension doesn't work anymore.

Sorry for my basic english. I have win XP, TB 2.0.0.17, Hotmail
1.2.19b3 and Hotmail 1.3.3b3.
Same problem.
I use 3 e-mail adresses with .hotmail ou .live extensions. All are
registered in my TB. They've all worked until Windows Live update
yesterday.
Now, I can send e-mails from two of them. The other one has "negative
vibes" message and it doesn't work at all (this one has a new graphic
interface when i directly connect WLH site)
No adress can get e-mail while I can see messages on the site.
I've no trouble with gmail adress...
Thanks.

Here also a problem with webmail after installing live update
2.0.0.17. I read this discussion and went back to 2.0.0.16
(fortunately I had the complete installation) and it is working fine.
For me no update 2.0.0.17 anymore.

So after I had this problem, I had to arbitrarily set the ports to
something else. All the ports were originally above 1024, but I
changed them to something different, yet still above that. From then
on it works again.

OK. I tried to set the ports above 1024, but knowing absolutely
nothing about what I was doing, I screwed things up even more.

Would someone be kind enough to provide the values that each setting
should be configured to so that it can retrieve my messages from
Hotmail?

Webmail POP Port ?
Webmail SMTP Port?

Thank you VERY much ! !

Hi,
Since the update of the Windows Live interface, thunderbird display me
the window "Negative vibes from...".
I've tried to change the ports to :
pop -> 1040
smtp -> 1030
I've changed it in the Webmail options and in the options of my
hotmail account.
I've open the port in Kaspersky.

Nothing changes. I can't recuperate my email in Thunderbird.
Is anyone has an idea?

I use Webmail 1.3.2 and Hotmail 1.2.18.
Please I need HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've tried to update to the beta versions of webmail (1.3.3b3) and
hotmail (1.2.19b3).
In the console error there is the message:

Hotmail-SR-BETA: loginHandler : Exception : TypeError.
Error message: szResponse.match(patternHotmailJunkFolderID) has no
properties
335

What can I do to correct the problem?

Here's the error console:

Hotmail-SR-BETA: loginHandler : Exception : TypeError.
Error message: szResponse.match(patternHotmailInboxFolderID) has no
properties

Sorry, I was in holidays for few days and I didn't have Internet.
Where can I find this log?
I'll email it to you when I find it.

I've found how to have a log file after some researches in google.
I've sent it to you.
If you want that I do some modifications, it won't be a problem for
me.
Thank you for your help.
