Requirements for Thunderbird to become default mail client

Hi,

In today's session at UDS, there was a provisional decision to make Thunderbird the default e-mail client in Oneiric if certain conditions were met. This seems like a prudent approach and there were good arguments from both sides.  Currently the etherpad from the session [0] lists these high-level requirements:

 - styling improvements

 - CD space

 - e-d-s/calendar integration

 - upgrade reliability (enigmail + binary extensions)

I assume this isn't the final list but just the highlights as captured in the session.  Is there any view currently on when/where the discussion on the specifics of these requirements will take place?
