Raping Dave Rhodes; wishing rape on people

Mr. Stanley is cluefully challenged; the FBI post saying that Dave
Rhodes was arrested was an april fools day hoax.
Still, I find it ... distasteful ... that somebody would wish rape on
another.
Yesterday on CNN radio, there was a report on a fugitive from
justice who'd been arrested. He was charged with attempting to murder
his ex-girlfriend. The girlfrined's lawyer said, on the air, "I hope
he's put in a cell with a huge bruiser of a guy who thinks he's cute."
I recall reading about a recent conviction in Houston where,
immediately after the verdict was read, members of the audience began
catcalling at the defendent and telling him that they hoped he'd be
raped in jail.
It's also interesting that jailhouse rape is more-or-less an
accepted part of punishment in this country.
Really, if you had an 18 yr old son, would you rather that he be
caned in Singapore or spend 6 mo in the federal pen in Huntville Tx?
