My questions are:
1) Is Sybase working on supporting SA 9.0.2 with Windows 7 or have they
decided not to?
- If no, is it because 9.0.2 is nearing End Of Life?
2) Are there any recorded issues with running SA 9.0.2 on Windows 7 - apart
from the display issue when running SCJVIEW (turn off "Use visual styles on
windows buttons")?
- NOTE: For the issue with Display Styles, you can also use these
Registry settings:
---------------------------x86
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sybase\Sybase Central\4.3\VMArgs]
"-Dswing.noxp"="1"

Engineering is still evaluating 9.0.2 on Windows 7. There have been no
announcements made at this time.
See these other threads for other topics of discussion regarding Windows
7 and 9.0.2:

If Product Management were to decide not to support it, yes, it would be
because it is nearing its end-of-life status.

There have been mixed reports about IPV6 requests causing hangs on
start-up with the newer Windows OSes, but we have not been able to
identify a reproducible in technical support to illustrate the issue, so
this issue is currently based on speculation and hearsay at this point.
Others users have reported no problems with technically running the engine.

Note that SA 9.0.2 does not support IPv6. These IPv6 issues may apply to
10.0 and up.
