ResultSet.getBlob() and Statement.setBlob()

When will JConnect support Resulet.getBlob() and Statement.setBlob() ?

With JConnect 5.5, if you call any of these 2 methods, you get an exception
saying something like that the method is not implemented. The JConnect docs
mention that you should use getBinaryStream() and setBinaryStream()
instead.

That's fine if I am working directly with JDBC.

Problem is, when you use Hibernate, and the mapping files originally had
"blob" for some of the columns, and it works in other database ... you will
have to change the Hibernate mapping files so that "blob" becomes "binary",
then regenerate the Java code from mapping files, etc ....

I think with some of the new features in ASE 15.0 implementing the
features might be a bit easier than they have been in the past but
still you need to get your needs prioritized.
