SW_TransportLandUse

Sustainable Westchester is an intermunicipal non-profit venture owned and directed by its member municipalities with aim of creating the cost effective development of shared know-how, projects or services that improve the quality of life and sustainability footprint of county residents. For more information please see www.sustainablewestchester.org. The Sustainable Westchester Transportation and Land Use Committee is tasked by SW to pursue progress in this area by means consistent with this SW mission.

It’s our hope that list members will actively participate in the committee and developing and promoting our work. Passionate “lurkers” are also welcome - please don’t forget to mention our latest initiatives at the water cooler or next Thanksgiving dinner.

Basic list decorum is expected - persistent uncivil or overtly commercial postings will not be tolerated and membership may be terminated. In the interest of maintaining effectiveness and broad support, the list may also not be used as a vehicle to promote partisan politics or personal political views. There are other places/medium to do that and you are encouraged to do so as part of your obligations as an active citizen.
