Aloha USGBC Hawai‘i Chapter Members,
We invite you to join us for the following exciting green building educational workshops. Please help us to promote these workshops by distributing the flyers and registration information to your networks.
Please find attached, two flyers for the USGBC LEED workshops being held this month at Ko‘olau Ballrooms on O‘ahu. This is a great opportunity for sustainability education in best practices for architects, engineers, developers, contractors, building owners, facility operations & maintenance staff, professionals in the building industry and individuals interested in learning in-depth about LEED and green building strategies and benefits, as well as those interested in pursuing a LEED AP credential.
October 20 – USGBC Green Building Design and Construction, (LEED for new construction)
October 21 – USGBC Green Building Operations and Maintenance, (LEED for existing buildings)
Please also share that the USGBC is an approved continuing education provider for the organizations indicated on the flyer. USGBC reports directly to AIA and CSI. As a national organization, USGBC does not apply to individual states' licensing entities however, many state-level professional organizations approve USGBC LEED courses for continuing education credits. Attendees who are members of other national or state organizations typically earn credits by using a requested certificate of completion to self-report their attendance.
