I'm offering you a WXY(Z) comparison test to check the audio
evaluation capability of your ears and mind. The hotlinked Hotfile
link below leads you to a DVD-audio disc image that contains two
groups of tracks of the same audio material converted as:

Group 1 (stereo):
- unaltered original MLP 5.1 24/192,
- 24/96 downsampled original (in 24/192 upsampled form),
- 24/48 downsampled original (in 24/192 upsampled form),
- 16/48 downconverted original (in 24/192 upconverted form).

Group 2 (5.1 multichannel):
- unaltered original MLP 5.1 24/96,
- 24/48 downsampled original (in 24/96 upsampled form),
- 16/48 downconverted original (in 24/96 upconverted form).

r8brain was used for conversions.

Your task is to determine the correct conversion order, at least to
find the upconverted 16/48 standard resolution tracks without using
audio analysis softwares. You can PM me your guess and I'll send you
the right answer back. Btw, I meant this to be a funny game so don't
take it too seriously (although there is no trick or scam in the
testing material).
