Usability suggestion for V3

Hello,
Spyder is getting greater and new features are being added.

Maybe we could have a usability focus during the version 3 round.

Here are some ideas:
* task-centric UI with menus changing depending on whether you are
working in consloe or editor
* Predefined UI layouts (like common options for UI layout in mail
clients)
* Translations as the program stabilises

What do you think?

Hello

It's good to see spyder in such a good shape! As far as tranlations
are concerned i would suggest the project to be alocated also in
lauchpad to allow an easy translations process to multiples languages.

I just have made some experiences in spyder, but i tryed to look for
a debug option just as matlab, i.e., those red balls which allow to
inspect the values of variables before the red ball. Which is the
prefered method to debbug in spyder.

i would also like to suggest the creation of an IRC channel for
spyder. I tryed to look for one but i haven't found it.

+1 on graphical debugger. One of the major advantages of Matlab was
that you could inspect matrix variables as you step through your
program. Is this something one can write as a plugin? Other than
that, Spyder is great, and getting better all the time. Thanks again
