Spinify 2.3 has just been released.

Spinify is a Markov chain Monte Carlo simulation for the 2D Ising
model of ferromagnetism on curved surfaces. It is written in C++ and
distributed under a BSD license.

This version includes a couple of bug fixes as well as major speed improvements.
The swendsen() function now runs about three times as fast as it did in the
previous version. You can download the new version on
Bitbucket: http://bitbucket.org/loicseguin/spinify/downloads/spinify-2.3.tar.gz

Moreover, this is the first version that has support for Windows. An executable can
be downloaded at
http://bitbucket.org/loicseguin/spinify/downloads/spinify-2.3.exe
and the source code now contains a working Visual C++ project. The Windows
version has only been tested on Windows 7.

If you use this software and have any questions or comments please
post them to the mailing-list spinify...@googlegroups.com.

Sincerely,

Loïc Séguin-C.
