Is there any difference between Spanning Sync & Apple Address Book
sync?

Spanning Sync use a different "localise" translation. If you are using
a Swiss Style Addressbook with e.g.

Name
Street 12
4000 Basel

Apple Address Book Sync translates it to

Name
Street
12 4000 Basel

Spanning Sync not. Still not perfect but Google Contacts is still beta
and not properly localised for different regions of the world!

What I really want to know is, why does Spanning Sync do the Address
Book sync at all, since Apple can do it already?
