邀请参与Scratch的本地化工作

大家好：

Isaac介绍我们向国内的中小学推荐MIT媒体实验室的的Scratch，Scratch目前的版本已经支持中文。另外，新的版本（Scratch 1.4）即将发布，Isaac在帮我们引荐，希望我们能为Scratch提供系统的本地化支持，也希望我们能参与到新版本的汉化中来。

Isaac提出的初步合作想法是：

- SLL协助建立中国用户网络社区
- 负责在中国教育研究机构建立镜像站点
- 相关推广和介绍活动

韦文金老师（weiwen...@gmail.com）目前在了解这个项目，我希望能邀请你一块来讨论怎么来做Scratch的本地化工作。

下面是Scatch团队为新版汉化提供的一些资料：

Dear Scratch Translators,

You are receiving this email because you have helped us translate the Scratch interface, website and materials in the past.  Thank you very much for your continued contributions to the Scratch project!  Scratch 1.4 is going to be released soon, and we would like to update the translations of the Scratch interface, website and materials.

While the website and support materials can be updated at any time, we have limited time until Scratch 1.4 is released. If you have time to update the software interface translations before the deadline, we would very much appreciate your help.

To Translate Scratch 1.4

1. Download Scratch 1.4 beta here: http://web.media.mit.edu/~jmaloney/beta/beta1.4.html

2. Follow instructions for translation here: http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Translation/Translating_Scratch

Note: We are no longer using the OLPC Pootle server for Scratch translations

TRANSLATION DEADLINE: June 02, 2009

To Translate the Scratch website:

1. Follow instructions for translation here: http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Translation/Translating_scratch.mit.edu

2. These translations can soon be tested on an internal website: http://gamma.scratch.mit.edu

Note: Please do not share the "gamma" link with anyone, it is a private development site.

TRANSLATION DEADLINE: None, these translations will periodically be added to http://scratch.mit.edu

To Translate Scratch materials:

You will be receiving an email in the next few days from Scratch team member Amos Blanton explaining how to translate the materials for Scratch 1.4.

If you would like to be removed from this email list, please let me know.
