I'm definitely voting for Barack Obama. I am tired of the glaring evil
evident in the Republican party, evil evidenced lately (on a daily
basis) by their lies against their political opponents, a long-held
tradition for them.
Today I ran into someone (a stranger) who brought up Obama. I said,
"I'm voting for him". Looking actually frightened, he said 'If you
do, it will be the same as voting for terrorism; he has ties to
terrorism' [This ("ties to terrorism") is a current McCain scare
tactics LIE, being told in the form of political ads accusing Obama
(who had been an eight-year old child at the time of this man's
crimes) of being friends with a man who had once long ago attacked the
capital. I just looked at him. A minute later, I said, "Speaking of
terrorism, Bush's first act after 9/11 was to protect Osama ben
Ladin's family by whisking them out of the USA, an odd reaction with
thousands of Americans lying dead under the rubble of the Twin
Towers." He didn't argue, because we were all informed of this the
week the Twin Towers were destroyed. Then he started saying maybe
they all have ties to terrorism.
If they want to tell lies about Obama's alleged ties to terrorism,
McCain's ties to Bush, who we all know protected the family of a
terrorist (Osama ben Ladin) before ever responding to many thousands
of Americans who became victims of this terrorism, both the victims
themselves and their families and friends.
The Republicans are for the rich, not the common people of the USA.
McCain's ads that Barack Obama will raise taxes leave out the very
important fact (to most of us) that Obama says he will raise taxes for
the rich who outsource jobs to other countries, and will LOWER taxes
for the common middle-income person.
To HELL with McCain. He is as evil as his mentor. The USA needs to
*** WAKE UP *** and quit letting the Republican party MANIPULATE us
with their EVIL LIES by which they've remained in power for years.
WAKE UP PEOPLE BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE FOR US AND THE REPUBLICANS
SUBJECT US TO A NUCLEAR ATTACK FROM THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD WHO HAVE

There is nothing wrong with moose-burger.
I think you are incorrect about the 5k figure, it seems more likely
7,000 years.
Now, the government having ANYTHING to do with how a rape victim
attempts to recover her life is *beyond* rational.
As for McCain selecting her as VP... well, I guess his age has rendered
him senile after all.
Still, IMHO, our choice was never more than choosing between "worse" or
"worser." It does not matter who is elected, both parties and all their
candidates are owned and operated by the wealthy mob. The president of
the US is nothing more than a "talking head" who speaks the words
dictated to him by his handlers.
Either "Republic" or "Democracy" in the US is a sham.
