For nearly a year now, Christians have been dying and massacred in
Indonesia. I have been trying to campaign for them . I believed that
violence is the only answer towards the Muslims who have used the most
nefarious means to purge their lands of indigenious Christians. However
every Christian I spoke to turned a blind eye towards their Christian
brothers on Ambon Indonesia amid the Muslims declaring a Jihad on them.

How can we possibly sit aside and quote 'love and peace' from the bible,
asking our Christian brothers to be strong as their families get
massacred?!!! Those Christians who started speakin of love and peace are the
very first once who supported American bombing of Yugolavia to save
Albanians. Thy are the first ones who thought that the Americans' dropping
of the atomic bombs in Japan was justifiable inspite of it killing 100000
Japanese.......please stand for Ambon...today.

My friend, as Christians, our requirement is to follow Jesus, and He set an
example of forgiveness and love. I hate to see any Christians take up arms
and resort to violence over persecution. Remember two things: 1)Our goal
while on this earth is to win as many people to Christ as possible, and
retaliation only defeats that purpose. It is exactly what our enemy Satan
would love for us to do. There is a bigger issue at stake than our rights to
be free of persecution. 2) Everything! Again I say everything will be made
right by God in the end. It is his place to make things right not ours. He
will see to it that our persecuted brothers and sisters in Indonesia are
rewarded for faithfully following Him on the midst of persecution. And God
will also see to it that those who persecute His people are judged if they
do not repent.

I am trying to convince Indians and Pakistanis on another newsgroup that
Jesus is able to bring reconciliation between the two groups, and the
argument that one man posted to me was that Jesus is not able to bring peace
between His followers and followers of other religions to peace in other
parts of the world. Indonesia is one place that he mentioned. So please do
not hinder the cause of Christ by promoting retaliation. And don't forget
that there is a day when everything will be made right!
