Now for a more interesting example: the letter `^h' used in Esperanto,
a language so idealistic and charming in its awkwardness.
Could you please translate it into Esperanto??
Thanks in advance!

In spite of my strong disagreement with that "awkwardness."

lingue tal idealistic e charmant in su rusticitá.

Nu a sam nitedikum: tonat 'ĥ' pageböl in Sperantapük, pük vemo dialimik e

Mi supozas, ke s-ro Potisto volis simple inciti E-istojn. Kial vi do
tradukis tiel fidele?
Sebastiano
I'm sorry for the word "akwardness", in fact I wrote the book in
French, where the word I used was "maladresse", and the translator
translated that word into "akwardness".
I see you used three words: mallerta, rusticitá, impeto. Can you
translate them so that I know which one to choose?
Thanks again for your help!!

The problem with "maladresse" "awkwardness" and "mallerteco" is that it
does not seem to describe the language, but the person who starts
learning it.
It takes some time to realize that the language is not as clumsy as it
looks like.
However, it is possible that your sentence is valid, in the context in
which you are using it.

The Esperanto word, "mallerta", is the opposite of "lerta", which means
"clever" or "skillful". The other words are from translations into
other languages, which is not what you were after.

Mi supozis lian peton meritanta honestan kaj ĝentilan respondon, kiun mi
faris kun sufiĉe forta protesto pri la sola ofenda vorto. Lia respondo
ŝajnas konformi al mia supozo.
Sebastian is a semi-troll who favors other constructed languages as the
international language. He's also not a native speaker of English.
Since there are so few Occidental speakers in the world, he torments us
with it from time to time. But we tolerate him.
FYI the languages he uses are:
Occidental:

Volapuk:

Impeto means "impetus", hardly a suitable translation.
I propose Arnold Victor's translation, but with "malgracieco" or
"maleleganteco" for awkwardness. Unfortunately I disagree with the
statement, but there you have it.
You mean, "impeto" is not Esperanto? And the translation where it is from is
not Esperanto?

Non, c'etait pas Interlingua, mais Occidental. :)

Same la miajn...
Sebastian
Hm.
X, petante tradukon, tiam li miaopinie agas au sen ajna pripenso au intence
inciteme.

Nu, eble judoj havas alian senton pri honoro.
Sebastiano
Kaj kiom temas pri religioj, mi kredas, ke Jesuo arde predikis
kontraŭ honoro.

Espereble ĉiuj havas alian senton pri honoro ol vi kaj Sebastiano.

diferencas.
Sebastiano
Shajne via nacia honorsento blindigis vin kontrau ironio.
Sebastiano
