Nvidia x huge.s [slack12]

Olá pessoas

Possou um notebook hp dv6220br e logo que cheguei em casa meti um slackware 12 nele. Eu usei o kernel huge-smp. Depois vi que quando levantava os modulos ac, battery e thermal ele travava. Dei uma pesquisada e a solução foi usar o o huge.s Ficou perfeito! Sendo que o drive da placa de vídeo (nvidia geforce go 6150) que no huge-smp estava perfeita, nesse não queria compilar.

O erro que deu foi esse:

ERROR: Unable to load the kernel module ' nvidia.ko'. This happens most frequently when this kernel module was built against the wrong or improperly configured kernel sources, with a version of gcc that differs from the one used to build the target kernel, or if a driver such as rivafb/nvidiafb is present and prevents the NVIDIA kernel module from obtaining ownership of the NVIDIA graphics device(s)

Rodei a net em busca de soluções, no forum da nvidia cheguei ao comando:

sh NVIDIA-blablabla -k ($uname -r)

Que deu certo, não apresentou nenhum erro na instalação. Sendo que quando coloco no X: drive "nvidia" ele dá erro:

Após uma dica de um amigo, tentei por no X : (BusID  "PCI:0:10:3")
O resultado foi tela preta e travada...

Alguem pode me dar uma luz ou ja passou por isso?

Instala o pacote e aplica o patch, o README.TXT explica como fazer.

ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware-12.0/extra/linux-2.6.21.5-nosmp-sdk/

Depois disso usa o instalador da NVIDIA que funciona sem erros.
