Importing and Exporting Facet Selections

Hi all,

I've created the ability to import/export Exhibit facet selections.
Demo can be found here: http://d6.joshhuckabee.com/facet-persistence

Is anyone else interested in this functionality? David, would you be
interested in having this code in core?

Our use case for this is having the ability to capture and then
restore Exhibit "snapshots" in a back end database (will be Drupal for
us).

that's really nice! ... any thoughts of generating an url from it, so
you could bookmark exhibit facet selections?

Hey Isaac,

This is certainly possible to do, though I'm not personally planning to work on it in the immediate future.  Josh Huckabee might be a good person to ask.  I think it would be a great addition to Exhibit.
