Hi Silicon Beach,

I'd like to introduce my very first start-up, Productive Web Apps
(http://productivewebapps.com) an interactive directory that lets you
easily search, sort, rate and compare hundreds of the best web
applications.

This is something I've built whilst working full-time for an
Australian financial institution as a bright-eyed and eager 23 year
old. So, while I am yet to take the plunge into full-time
entrepreneurship (mainly because of my rent!), I've immensely enjoyed
everything I've learnt along the way (most of it right from here in
this group!).

A small gripe I had with the Chrome Web Store was that there was no
ability to subscribe to RSS feeds or receive regular updates when new
apps are added each day. This was the main driver behind why I wanted
to build the site, I am passionate and love reading about web apps but
became frustrated there was not a one-stop shop where I could receive
regular updates on new apps with short simple descriptions, a
screenshot and an outline of key features.

I am hoping that the site will also be a great avenue for early stage
start-ups and developers to get their word out there about their new
web app with minimal effort (a' la "killerstartups.com"). If anyone
here on Silicon Beach thinks this sounds like you, I'm more than happy
to include your site on 'PWA', just shoot me an email.

Looking forward to hopefully working with many of you in the future
and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or
feedback on the site.

Hi Scott,
I can't seem to access the website from our office (but I can from home).  Not sure if others are having any issues but it might be worth checking out…

Who are you using to host the site?

Cheers,

Hi Dan,

Unfortunately it looks like it might just be your work. Other people aren't reporting any issues.

Please let me know if there's any problems accessing it from home.

Cheers,
Scotty
