Hi all
Recently i chatted with Yaron about a feature that could be very interesting and i would like to share with everybody. (maybe someone would like to code it)
* I think SF could have an option that when we add a field of typo coordinate, appear an option to choose the place from a map. How this could work?
* When adding a coordinate field, will appear a icon in front of the field. If we click on the icon will appear a map where we will have an option to add a placemark. After we add the placemark, the coordinate value will appear in the field. We could too add the coordinate value and see this on Map.
* Looking some example of Maps i saw 1 very interesting and it's like how i would like to see. Example: http://tools.wikimedia.de/~dschwen/wikiminiatlas/   click on the icon on right.  Information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Dschwen/WikiMiniAtlas
* I think could be used www.openlayers.org script to maps sources. Why i prefer this? Because this scrip can use many map sources like: google maps, virtual earth, yahoo wms and many others.
* After we add the information on the map and save the article from the form. So we could see the place in the map included in a template for example.
* I was thinking too the could be good idea if we had in a special page a full map showing all the placemarks adding from the form.
* Would be great too if we had a module to filter placemarks. An advanced filter. It's because it i added some other suggestions too. Maybe some coder from Busytonight be interesting in all this things. As i think could be great to my project and to Busytonight project too and maybe to others.
Thanks

Hi, i posted about this request some time ago and today a dev coded
something like this. I really think this new extension should be
integrated with Semantic Forms. Look: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Semantic_Google_Maps
